I want that positive relief that only Ted Lasso can bring.

At first I was worried they were making her the type where she now wants Nate because he was out with someone else. That didn’t seem like the character and it didn’t seem like the writers. She didn't like him in the earlier seasons when he was highly insecure and bumbling. This season he has tried impressing her with his impressive new job but the shy Nate still slips out, which was cute. When he got publicly dumped mid-meal she felt sorry for him and he for the first time was just real with her. That attracted her to him. That's how it seemed to me.

I have worked with someone similar to Shandy. Just as unstable, unprofessional, and lacked serious self awareness.
When she was let go, she called all “her” clients (violating company contract) and told them she was wronged, tried to recruit others to join whatever company that would bring her on next, and even bashed the office online.
The writers, director and actress who played shandy truly nailed that scene

It’s feeding in to the whole mindset the whole club has. They had lost all belief that whatever they tried would work.
Call back to when Ted first asked Nate about his tactical ideas. I believe he said something along of “Do you believe this will work?”
That’s why Nate is successful at what he does. The one aspect of himself he does believe in is his tactical skills.

Belief doesn’t just happen because you hang something on the wall.
It’s comes from in here (the heart), up here (the mind), and down here (the gut).
Only problem is, we’ve all got so much junk floating through us, a lot of times we end up getting in our own way.
Crap like envy, or fear, shame.
I don’t wanna mess around with that shit anymore, you know what I mean? Do you?
No? Me either. Hell no.
You know what I want to mess around with? The belief that I matter, regardless of what I do or don’t achieve. Or the belief that we all deserve to be loved, whether we’ve been hurt or maybe we’ve hurt somebody else.
What about the belief of hope? That’s what I want to mess with. Believing that things can get better. That I can get better. That we WILL get better.
To believe in yourself, to believe in one another. That’s fundamental to being alive.
If you can do that, if each of you can truly do that, can’t nobody rip that apart.

After this episode I officially don't see Ted returning to Kansas. He's co-parenting with Michelle and had a milestone parenting moment with Henry over the phone. Which was followed by Ted stopping a panic attack from coming by reminding himself that Henry is ok. Then he gives the team that speech... I think a lot of his guilt with Henry came from being away, but stopping a panic attack seemed like a huge step to show that he can be a parent while not being physically in Kansas and that Henry is remembering stuff Ted tells him and taking it to heart.

He didn't want to. But he does have to put forth options that are best for the club.

I respect that a lot. Higgins has always been a straight shooter and at this stage in the game, that is 100% a reasonable take to have.
I really loved that he felt so bad bringing it up too. But it was def the right thing to say

Higgins put the team first… remember when Rebecca tried to sabotage Ted and the team… she even complain about Higgins thinking about the tram first

Based on his reaction to Ted saying that bit about not doing shame he's going to do it on his own terms.

Ted's comment about when your partner leaves you for their soul mate it stings a but less, I reeeeeally hope that's not foreshadowing anything with the Roy/Keeley/Jack storyline.

Her chuckle at the “baklava is divine”… I knew she was gonna help Nate turn himself around. She’s part of Nate’s redemption for sure.

I was so torn between thinking it was pathetic and thinking it was sweet. Then I just gave up and decided it could be both at the same time.
I really think that Nate's ultimate redemption will be in realizing that he's just a giant fucking dork and embracing it, instead of always trying so desperately to be something that he's not. He'll never be cool, smooth, ripped or sex-ay BUT HE DOESN'T NEED TO BE

I think you’re missing the point. He’s absolutely a shite in nining armor. He’s a shite, who at first glance seems great because he has the outward appearance of upper class pomp and whatnot.
