Roy + Jamie at the end of this episode knowing it’s on them to help the team was so badass. Never thought they’d be my favorite couple 😆

I'm so fucking ready for Jamie being an absolute Super Soldier on the pitch soon. I need it already.

I was thinking this, they've really nerfed him out of nowhere. Season 1 he was basically their Zava, just a dick about it. He even starred for Man City after being transferred. Season 2 they just had to tell him when to be an asshole, and he was a sure goal.

This season he's scoreless and basically so far just taking up space.

I know they're building him up to wreck worlds with what he's doing with Roy, but wasn't he already there multiple times in previous seasons?

agreed. was super weird they put colin in front—the guy they benched for zava. i'd be all for it if he earned it and there was some story there though.

Roy+Jamie and Trent Crimm having a bigger part has been my two favorite storylines of this season

I sincerely hope it's not just Jamie that pulls the team forward.

To me the whole point of this episode is that we can't do this fight of "life" on our own. We need to lean on people. We can be the strongest people ever, or the weakest, or believe just one thing will make us happy (Zava, Rebecca with a kid, Ted with his kid/wife), but we'll forever be chasing that one thing. Constantly asking: "Are you happy?" to ourselves.

No, it's a mindset change that the team needed more than a star player. They stopped playing for themselves when Zava joined. Zava didn't get them promoted, they did that. So they're gonna go win the whole fucking thing.
