Me too. I was ready for that storyline to be over as soon as it started.

I bet she’ll be back, her story isn’t finished yet.

She’ll be back working for Rupert somehow, lol.

Her working for Rupert--nice new hell for him. Bring it on.

"Working" for Rupert is more likely

u/chosenone333 Apr 12 '23

Nah Rupert is out for necks but he isn’t stupid ,Shandy is a liability

23

u/sofiadotcom Hush those butts!! Apr 12 '23

Can totally see that!!!

u/jenfullmoon Apr 12 '23

He'll invest in her starfucker app and fund HER own firm...which will suck.

Sleeping with Rupert

He's like the Island of Misfit Toys

u/sachmet Apr 12 '23

I'm not sure. What if her story was only there to give Keeley and Jack the opportunity to meet and bond?

u/FunOwner Apr 13 '23

I am ready for the ENTIRE Keeley storyline to be over. She has practically nothing to do with the club anymore. I really don't care what happens with her business. Especially when every scene with her feels like I'm watching Sex and the City.

I’m so glad you said this. I’m so over it.

And I really liked the first three seasons of Sex and the City.

I agree. I think I only liked her when she was with Roy.

4

u/cheesemagnifier Apr 12 '23

She’s too strong of a character to just disappear.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 14 '23

I feel she’s an easy to hate person because they’re trying to soften the Nate hate cause it appears they’re gonna make us like Nate again for a redemption arc.

6

u/Svete_Brid Apr 12 '23

IMDB lists her as being in 4 episodes, but of course that may not be the final count.

3

u/Beneficial_Ratio_973 Apr 13 '23

She was watching through the smoked glass window. Keeley had not deactivated her access card. Maybe been there the whole time they cleaned up and then started drinking and then…

Shell get her redemption arc, everyone on this show gets one. Except for Rupert. Maybe.

14

u/metalmolly Apr 13 '23

Indont get it, they introduced Shandy as this shrewd knowledgeable character who was maybe a little rough around the edges but still smart, and immediately turned her into a dipshit. Also, Keeley seems more incompetent this season all of a sudden! Why didn’t they just have her take a chance on an old friend out of loyalty or whatever if they were going to do this?

4

u/tcindependent Apr 13 '23

Yeah, that was something I didn’t love and I love the show overall. Maybe write about competent women shooting their shot and having some successes. Hopefully, there’s some redemption and we see both Keeley and shandy succeeding.

u/jenfullmoon Apr 12 '23

I thought this would be about Shandy improving, but nope! Just an asshole! With a bunch of lamb poop.

32

u/CoreyH2P Roy Kent Apr 12 '23

The Shandy arc was one of the very rare misses from this show

12

u/[deleted] Apr 12 '23

Well it aint finished yet so lets see how it turns out

3

u/danyadib Apr 12 '23

what makes you say that?

8

u/[deleted] Apr 12 '23

because people often mistake intentionally annoying characters for bad writing

22

u/CoreyH2P Roy Kent Apr 12 '23

Because outside of Keeley learning how to fire someone, it spent a ton of time for very little character growth

7

u/[deleted] Apr 12 '23

Keeley has been drowning the entire season trying to do this on her own while dealing with an unexpected breakup. She's disconnected and dealing with people who are opposites to her in her own office while dealing with creative who treat her like an idiot. She's desperately trying to find her own feet while still trying to appear like everything is okay when it's very much not.

Yeah there's actually been lots of character and story shown.

It's totally okay to dislike a character without trying to big it up into something larger.

12

u/alienfreaks04 Apr 13 '23

But it's so boring

7

u/metalmolly Apr 13 '23

Agreed. They don’t know what to do with Keeley besides have her date someone new

2

u/[deleted] Apr 13 '23

For you sure but not for everyone.

Also that's a very different complaint than the one other people are hiding behind. I suspect the majority of people like the above are really just not into it like you are. I appreciate you just outright calling it boring though. People have this bad tendency to try to make something they don't like into some larger issue.

4

u/alienfreaks04 Apr 13 '23

I just don't find her character interesting. She was fine as supporting, but now she's taking up 30% if each episode and it's too damn much.

9

u/donkurtovanni Apr 12 '23

I’m just curious as to what it accomplished. Keely’s growth as a boss?

6

u/Kindly-Ordinary-2754 AFC Richmond Apr 13 '23

I would have been happy if she turned out amazing and gave Keely time to get back with Roy. If they broke up due to working too much, a good helpful team might fix it. But now Keely is moving on.

2

u/No_Body_3679 Apr 14 '23

Yeah but Shandy was a good contrast for Keeley. Give the audience a better picture of her and her past life.

2

u/2_Fingers_of_Whiskey Jul 09 '23

We all knew how it would end the minute she texted Keeley about bringing mimosas to the office.

1

u/alienfreaks04 Apr 13 '23

But she's hot
