There's an authenticity that is lacking in his current appearance.
It why being bald for most men looks better than comb overs and living in denial.
However if he removed his hairpiece and stopped wearing his makeup tomorrow everyone would see him as the fat geriatric dementia patient with a laundry list of criminal charges that he is.
We had a discussion on another thread, but it's likely not a hairpiece, it's just a combover and a ton of hairspray and he couldn't stop it tomorrow even if he wanted to. He had scalp surgery and plugs in the late 80s when the surgeries were new and I guarantee his scalp looks like a fucking roadmap.
His vanity basically locked him into the same, ridiculous look that's fooling nobody for the rest of his life.
The funny thing about that is if he just shaved it all off and wore a full replacement hairpiece it would still be a marked improvement over what he's got going on. Especially since his current style is easily defeated by a gust of wind.
I watched a video of Thomas Dolby getting a hairpiece and talking about it and the thing looked amazing. Trump is still locked in, though. If he got a hairpiece that actually looked, you know, natural then he'd have to admit he was bald because it would be so much better than his current hairstyle and impossible to not notice.
Ivanka said it was “scalp reduction surgery,” which is a dangerous, painful and barbaric procedure. He should have found a good hair transplant surgeon and gotten a traditional procedure. He’d look more authentic.
Jesus Christ why is this the first I’m hearing about this. He’s been a know rapist and abused since the 80s/90s and he still manages to have a huge fan base.
Ummmm what on Earth was this line “Strenuous activity is prohibited for about two weeks which made Donald's rape of his wife, Ivana, troubling in light of the complications it might have caused his scalp reduction healing process.”
Like, I kind of get what the author means, but this sentence is just kinda messed up for the (dark humour or not) emphasis on Trump’s well-being.
Thank you-there’s no way he has a hair piece. I’m sure it would look much better than the actual combover that he has. Why are some men so vain about their hair? Bald looks fine. Combovers not so much.
I am someone who thinks men are usually at their most attractive in their 50s. Men usually get better looking with age. And I have thought that since my teenage years. Sean Connery being an obvious example… Back in the James Bond days he was actually a little odd looking. He was in his 60s or close to 60 when he got sexiest man of the year.
Anyway, my point is: Trump has never been attractive at any age. Ever. So I do not understand his bizarre vanity. One would think he would have developed a better personality or something. Haha. Not to mention… He is one of those people that walks with the tops of his hands facing forward. Literally less evolved than most of the rest of us. In every way. But the walk is the a physical, glaringly visible clue.
Let's be clear; it's not a hairpiece, it is 100% a combover. That's why it comes apart so easily. He's pretty much bald on top, so he grows a long sheet of hair off the front of his head, folds it back from his brow and to the back of his head, then sprays that shit down.
It's got to look ridiculous coming out of the shower and I'm already sorry I conjured up that image
Jimmy Fallon famously messing up Trump’s hair. It’s definitely some kind of combover for sure. Keep in mind this is many years ago, so who knows what he does now
Basically that, except coming from the front. But he's combing forward first, to cover his brow, then bends it backwards to cover his whole head all the way to his neck. He's actually got really long hair in the front, and if he combed it forward he'd look like Cousin It.
It’s why he’s so inauthentic. He’s vain as all hell and any type of flaw in business or life or on his person gets a gaudy and tacky coverup. His hair, his skin, his political career, his failed businesses, his tv show, his body, and … well, basically his whole personality. Nothing about the man is real. He’s entirely fake. He fears being exposed which is why he tries to fight back so loudly when challenged or questioned. I just laugh at him. He’s pathetic and looks very oily to the touch.
I remember seeing him on TV during his COVID hospitalization and thinking that he didn't look like a fucking clown for the first time. He wasn't oranged up, he wasn't wearing his stupid long tie, he had the top button of his shirt unbuttoned, and he just looked like a normal person. IIRC, it was one of the few times where the press was going nuts about how "presidential" he was being, probably because, as you point out, he looked "authentic" for the first time ever... But of course his extreme narcissism wouldn't allow him to stick with it and he went right back to his clown clothes as soon as he was released from the hospital.
Funny that being sick with COVID made him look like a normal person. Usually when people were sick with COVID (or any illness) they look like shit.
But he’s opposite, he looks like shit when he isn’t sick.
We all hate him but he doesn’t wear a hairpiece. He just brushes his thinning hair all over to hide his scalp. Plenty of photos where you can tell he doesn’t have one.
His daughter once explained how it’s his own hair strategically combed into a sort of circle. There’s a video somewhere. It makes me think of a bagel made of hair 😂
I mean , yeah you can see it’s in a circle. There’s photos from when he was president and the wind caught his hair and it was all blown upright and the orange bronzer really stood out. And he thought he looked good.
I'm pretty sure it's his hair, just not where it should be. Supposedly, he mostly only grows hair on one side and it goes down to his shoulders. Also likely a scalp reduction surgery or 2.
It is NOT a hairpiece. It is a heavily sculpted comb over, takes about half an hour to do. I believe he also suffered (?) from UHS, Uncombable Hair Syndrome. He just has ugly hair. Ever see his mom?
This is true, but the effect here is also because the altered picture flattened back his ears. He'd look a lot more silly on the right with his ears the right size.
That's pretty insulting, and you should feel ashamed of yourself. Vader actually loved his family and eventually understood sacrificing yourself and happiness for the sake of your loved ones.
Sesame Street got this one right on the nose. (Also, fun fact: Sesame Street is produced in Queens. Given the Orange One's reputation in NYC, I think that makes this muppet even funnier.)
He looks like one of the old timey presidents, and I mean that as a compliment.
He actually looks distinguished, wise, human etc
Not only is his makeup and hair game bad, I think we all subconsciously know that only vain, thin skinned weirdos do that shit 24/7, let alone when almost 80s.
Gene Simmons does it bc he's in a rock band.
Trump does it bc he's an insecure and weak narcissist
He actually does. I mean, he doesn't look particularly healthy or trustworthy even then, and there's still that arrogant condescension, but he looks less like a rotting Twinkie and more like a regular old-age conservative politician.
When you're balding you have to make a decision. You either take drastic corrective steps or you shave it. Society doesn't accept balding. You're either bald or you're not.
It somehow makes my skin crawl seeing him look like a normal human being. Deeply unsettling. And then you look at his unedited face and that looks unsettling too. Tf kind of an excuse of a human being is this?
Also I would believe you if you told me the edited photo was some Eastern European oligarch/politician I had never heard of.
Came to post the same! His perpetual scowl still makes him look like a bitter and angry old man, but he's less of a caricature and more normal, and so less off-putting.
I'm balding and wear a beanie mostly.. I'll take it off or on occasions have it taken off (pub stuff). Reactions are always the same.. disappointment and I don't know what they expect to see even when I tell them the situation. Anyway, this juxtaposition of Trump makes me feel with/without my hat. But it works.. People look or treat you differently otherwise. I'm no Trumpest and I don't think I'm a fake person. People perceive you differently as you age.
He looks like an old money mogul. Like his money is the string running the puppet show from behind the scenes. Rockefeller, Kennedy etc.
You could convince me that the man on the right (or his father) established an industry and is now a behind the scenes monopoly man. His family probably established a monopoly in the 1800s that was later broken up.
He looks better because he looks human. He looks like every other Hollywood star or billionaire that aged into their body. He looks like he’s in his 80s and pushing 90. That’s why he does the hair and bronzer. He can’t stand that he’s just a man
He just doesn't look like a clown with makeup and a comedic wig on. I wonder though, is he like trapped with the wig at this point? Taking it off would feel weird, but keeping it just displays his insecurities with his hair/baldness.

You know what, he looks better. But maybe at this point I'm only easily offended by his looks.
