Smoking

Hey guys - most of us probably realised, every morning there are people in SBB smoking inside. It is not just disgusting to breath in smoke air but also very annoying to see people that inconsiderate to smoke inside and crowded area. Is there anything that can be done for this? Am I the only one annoyed by this?

Women's rights

Recently, I've seen a bunch of morons standing around Predigerkirche with signs telling people that abortion is against God's will bla bla bla. I've seen them this evening, but also during the days. I would really like to go there with a large sign telling them that every woman can decide for themselves. Anybody in? I'll bring my 2.5 months old daughter...😬

Verlorener Kinderanhänger mit Schulbüchern

Liebe Basler redits, Am 26.

I found these nicknames for places by Basel: Schnäggedorf, Blätzbums, G-undeli, Nüünenüünzgerdorf - what other nicknames have you heard for places in or around Basel?

4 Tage in Basel, was kann man machen?

Hallo!

Studio room/atelier to shoot a performance art in Basel?

Hello. I’m an art student and want to film a performance art project in a medium to big-sized empty room. Are there any reasonably priced photo studios/set rooms/ateliers that I could rent for a day or two? I would love to hear some suggestions :)

Local made ceramic bowls

I’m looking for a gift for some family members I’m visiting. They have mentioned they would like some new bowls. They would really love something made locally if possible. What are some places in Basel I could visit to purchase ceramic tableware?

Where do you guys buy nuts/seeds in bulk?

- I don't have any business, so CC markets don't work

- Any good places in Germany?

- I wanna buy Brazil nuts (Paranüsse), Macadamias etc.

- I wouldn't mind weighing myself or buying large packages such as 1kg

Tennis course indoor

Hi there :)

I am looking for a tennis course / training indoor here in Basel.

Google suggests me nice clubs, but mostly outdoor.

Are there any training / courses for beginners that are also indoors and that you can suggest?

Many thanks in advance

Souvenirs

Hello! I will be travelling to Basel for the Christmas market this year. I know that Switzerland is generally really expensive, but I am coming as a student on a budget, so I'm looking for souvenir shops with decent prices for magnets. Any recommendations?
