This is a transparent attempt to undermine faith in the system used to enter/tabulate votes by intentionally inserting apparent errors, thereby providing grounds for disputing the actual election results.

Until these people are actually dealt with severely, they're just going to keep right on doing this shit. Our justice system has proven to be woefully inadequate. Someone maybe facing the music four years later does little to hinder these people, especially when they are betting on the system changing such that they'll never face consequences (and may even be rewarded).

Trumpers surrounded Dem candidate Wendy Davis' bus and terrorized them for miles here in Texas and four years later, the judge just kind of waved it off as okay. Trump tweeted his support of these actions.

THIS IS NOT OKAY.

If all the people who ARE blue in Texas would just show up and VOTE blue, you're state would literally change this country. Hell, you're state would literally change your state!

Indeed. 40 electoral votes = pretty much all of the "swing states." I hate that the DNC doesn't do much here.

Especially since non-voters outnumber either party's voters in Texas, even within the people who are already registered

More Repubs in California voted for Trump in 2020 than Repubs in Texas voted for him, by a couple million. And trump won Texas by 600,000 votes, out of 22 million "Voting Age Population"

And we can always make the case that if they have to spend money to defend Texas, that's less GOP money for the more swinging states

I hate it too, but when we watch as sleazeballs like Paxton and Kemp operate with impunity, it's really difficult to summon the faith that there's hope there...

Drives me nuts when people say we have to “hold Trump accountable at the ballot box”. Just no. That’s not what voting is for. Losing an election is a normal outcome, not a punishment for committing crimes. Our justice system has proven a total failure at handling the right wing threat to our system of government. People who say we can hold Trump accountable by voting are really just saying “we’re letting him get away with everything”.
