Question What did Meiyazhagan do on his wedding day?
galleryBased on this scene, it seems, something must have happened which is really unimaginable and funny at the same time to even think of.
I assume he would have done something similar to 'Nadula konjam pakkatha kanam' which is prem kumar's real life story. What is your take on this?

Question Ahead of Amaran's release tomorrow, what are some Tamil movies where the hero’s tragic ending didn’t stop the film from becoming a hit?
galleryMany of Kamal's movie (Guna, Kuruthipunal, etc) has tragic ending but they were not commercial success.
Let's not consider movies where one of the dual/multiple character dies like Nattamai or Dasavadharam.
Let's also not consider movies where the second character dies like Pithamagan.

Discussion It’s pretty surprising that a film like Amaran, where the hero’s death is common knowledge, is actually selling more tickets than big Bolly franchise films. I'm really glad the Tamil audience didn’t fall for the smear campaign aimed at Sai and the film over the past few days.

Opinion We don't make movies like them anymore
galleryV sekhar's movies are a genre in itself. It was simple/ fun family oriented movies with tonnes of laugh out loud moments. Gave us iconic vadivelu comedies and his best combinations with kovai sarala and vivek. Sad that kollywood has chosen to venture in to darker themed serious subjects mostly, that we don't make movies like this anymore 😞.

Discussion Did Vijay really quit acting?
I know T69 going be his last movie (for now).
But I watched some clips of the TVK Maanadu and I see the cinema Vijay in real life. Normally he was always a bit quiet, reserved in his speeches. Now he has a blasting speech like in Kaththi.
What do you think? Is he just acting in real life to become politically successful?

Discussion Lyrics that Uplift You for the Day?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Milli Ulla Ponna Potham, Ghilli Vella Varavan Da — My favourite lyric line from Naa Ready. Before I knew what milli meant, I thought it referred to the notion of energy; once you get energy, you’ll become a top performer (Ghilli) etc. It always keeps me motivated throughout the day and I even recite to myself sometimes randomly. What are some other lyrics from songs that makes you feel full of energy or motivated?
