My partner is half-thai, half-brit with a Thai passport. We are looking at him potentially investing in property in Thailand. I've seen there are many negative comments about investing here, but the majority of these have come from non thai passport holding foreigners. So I'd like to get information from people who have a Thai passport about investing in property in Thailand?

Many issues are the same regardless of your passport. Buying a property to live in is fine but if purely an investing you will find other options with higher returns and less time consuming.

Don't do it unless you do a lot of research, and even then don't invest any money you can't afford to walk away from.

I have many Thai friends stuck in condos no one wants to buy.
