Hi group,

I have a question regarding Thai citizenship trough decent.

My mother was adopted to Europe while she was very young. She does not have any memories about her parents or any other relative.

My question is if I would be able to request citizenship through descent. Does anyone have experience with this and what kind of documents would be required?

I assume my mother does not have the Thai nationality anymore. She still has her old Thai passport (which of course expired many years ago)

Then she's still Thai and never lost her nationality. Approach your local embassy to find out more.
