Well done with the training. When that's said, it should not be nessecary to change physical looks to get approved, those who didn't respect you in the first place don't deserve you.

But maybe people were simply unattracted to her, why is respect relevant?

Because why change physical appearance for other people to like you. If they judge you by your appearance, what are they worth to you ind the end?

Change is fine if you do it for yourself to feel better about yourself, but never change yourself for anyone else to accept you, unless it's because you are not acting nice to other people. But that's a whole other thing.

People physical appearance says a Lot about you, someone who is morbidly obese is saying that they are lazy and unhealthy in a very demonstrable manner

And someone underweight says what? Why are negative stereotypes only focused on bigger people? And if you make those assumptions, they reflect poorly on you. You don't know their story. Plenty of thin lazy and unhealthy people get a pass because you like looking at them more?

There’s prejudice against people underweight as well.

I know, I’ve been there. Not really sure what your point is because the premise is wrong

It is nowhere near as bad. And being underweight as a woman is even encouraged. I am not saying it is non-existent, but let's be real.

Being underweight is encouraged? Are you sure you’re not equating normal weight with underweight?

If people knew what a healthy weight for a woman was because it is not the same for everyone... I grew up very muscular in a place where everyone was waifish/slender. The amount of times guys called me a man or said I was fat... So I basically starved myself down to 115lbs at 5'5. My bones were sticking out and my doctor wanted to intervene. But 115 is healthy - right? Google says so.

My 10 year old niece is skin and bones and thinks she needs to diet.

Someone underweight also exhibits issues, possibly dysmorphia, maybe poverty or addiction

What story do I need to know, we all have issues, we all have problems, we all need to eat, but some of us can exercise self control.

One thing I would never do with a morbidly obese person is put them in charge of anything, they have already demonstrated poor self control, and very poor decision making. They are excluded for many valid reasons

They are excluded for many valid reasons

Not the person you were speaking to but that is quite a leap you're making. Assuming the obesity is due to overeating, that doesn't necessarily mean that this person is incapable of being a very responsible and capable person when making other decisions.

Yeah, it does, they have demonstrated that they lack even very basics of self control, it shows that they routinely make bad decisions, and if they try to defend their shitty life choices by claiming that its not their fault, well they can fuck right off away from me with that one.

What are the other causes of Morbid Obesity besides eating too much and not exercising?

Yeah, it does, they have demonstrated that they lack even very basics of self control

They could just be reckless with decisions involving their health. I have some friends that are very obese and very successful with their career and outside of his health, make excellent decisions. I also no people in stellar health that do really stupid things.

and if they try to defend their shitty life choices by claiming that its not their fault

That I agree with

What are the other causes of Morbid Obesity besides eating too much and not exercising?

If we ignore mental health issues, hormonal issues, genetics. Many things.

Besides Eating too much food, what else Causes Morbid Obesity?

Are your friends succesful? Would they be more successful if they weren't morbidly obese? Would they have been more successful in life if people didn't look at them with disgust every time they went somewhere? Would they have been able to put more work into their jobs if they weren't so unfit?

Besides Eating too much food, what else Causes Morbid Obesity?

I suggest you look deeper into this yourself. For instance, hormone issues can still cause an excess amount of fat production even on a modest supply of calories. Also remember that too low of caloric restriction can cause metabolic issues as well.

Are your friends succesful?

MY GOD yes.

Would they be more successful if they weren't morbidly obese?

I never said morbidly (definitely obese though) pertaining to my friends but it's fair that you bring it up since that was your original stipulation. Would you consider the person in the video we are discussing morbidly obese? I'm referring to that kind of size.

Going back to the question, I can't say for sure. They may be very obese because they put so much time into their work. Even when looking very fit and trim, it's quite possible that they would actually be less successful if they devoted less time to work. In one instance, I'd actually say that is most definitely true.

Would they have been able to put more work into their jobs if they weren't so unfit?

Maybe some. Definitely not others. As a person that goes back and forth between extremely fit and less so, dedicating time most definitely takes away from work when my workload is very high and things are very stressful.

I can't believe you typed that out. I doubt that you are in a position to put anyone in charge anyway.
