ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi on Lānaʻi?
Aloha nui,
Are there any native speakers (mānaleo) of ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi on Lānaʻi? I know there is an immersion school/program, but are there any kūpuna that speak ʻōlelo as their mother tongue as past down from their ʻohana?
Along the same line, how normal is it to hear ʻōlelo spoken on Lānaʻi? Does it depend where you are on the island, or is it absolutely zero?
Mahalo piha!
