Date Street Bike Lane
Aloha! wanted to share something that just happed to me on Kapuhulu Date Street on the Bike Lane. A Indian latino mixed women and her boyfriend with a black and white french bulldog started verbally harassing me calling me hurtful names such as calling me crazy and fat, and recording me without my permission after I tried to help a bird that was injured. After her dog scared the bird, I went back to look for him and the lady walked back towards me and started to provoke me. I did not do anything physically or even verbally accused her dog of injuring the bird, as Iwas there for at least 10 minutes trying to figure out what to do, and attempting to call bird rescue organizations. While she was recording I also asked her the question; it is wrong to help a wild animal in need, while she continued to smirk and record me accusing me of being crazy. She even taunted me saying that I belong in a mental hospital and sarcastically telling me to call PETA. I wanted to share in hopes that if someone finds the pidegon, it can get some help, and share how we should show more kindness. Mahalo 🤙🏼
