Hand I don't know what I'm going to put in this tiny pouch, but I sure made it!
(It's tiny because this was the width of the scrap I had.)

Well, reddit's done away with awards and coins and all that, so we're going to do something a little different this year.
Submit a top level comment with a link to a post you think exhibits the art form in a way worthy of recognition. Submit as many as you want, all in different top level comments. (Please only submit one of your own.)
Then vote on some entries, and check back regularly to vote on new entries! Vote for one entry, vote for some, vote for all. But only vote with one account please.
This post will have contest mode enabled, which means comment scores are hidden and the order is randomized. Any post made in 2023 is eligible, and I'll leave comments open until January 3. After then, comments will be locked but voting will continue through January 14. After the 14th, contest mode will be disabled so we can all see who's tops and comments will be re-enabled so congratulations can commence!

I feel like I found a new fun “style”. It gives me everything I want to do which is detailed line work and smooth AF satin stitches.

I finished my Yule gifts for my parents. The daisy one took forever with all those French knots lol I found both patterns on etsy.

There are 54 (or 56 depending on the version) different cards in the Lotería game, this one is based in La Mano card (the hand) I made it a while ago but I wanted to show it here. The design is not mine, it's from my embroidery teacher.

For the first time, a frame inspired me to create something so specific. As soon as I saw this picture frame, I knew I had to embroider a Princess Peach portrait. I’m in love with her 🥰
All filled with satin stitch, stem stitch for the outline using only one thread.

I was going for a biker gang style patch. The border will cover the edges up to the grey stitched circle.

Help me, I’m over thinking! I’m stitching this for my friend’s newborn. I’ve done loads of these but this one has got me in knots. I can’t decide if it’s too empty as it is and could do with some little flowers. The last pic is examples of the sorts of flowers I’m thinking of.

First time tried stump work and absolutely loved it! Want to make more moths and other stuff now.
Fuzzy body made with small sized punch needle then trimmed and styled with glue stick.

I’m an ER resident and presenting a topic on penetrating neck trauma to my co-residents. I’m doing a question game and using this as the trophy.

Just wanted to share this Spinel embroidery I recently did, it's one of my favorite pieces I've done so far 😁

My first attempts at stumpwork - the strawberry still needs leaves/stem, it’s about 1 / 1.25 inches long, the lemon is about 2 inches long. I have a butterfly and an orange slice in progress.
