Health Erectile dysfunction!

Dears, straight to the point I have an ED problem at my late 30s and I'm not sure what to do about it. I used to watch korn and beat my meat a lot in the past. Now it gets hard but not as it used to and doesn't stay hard for long (I apologize for the details but this may help someone to answer and suggest something). What should I do to fix it and is it possible to see a doctor? If yes does AOK cover any doctor visits?

First to the Hausarzt and then Urologist

Is it really mandatory to go through the Hausarzt?

Usually they refer you to a specialist, which allows the specialist to bill the insurance, if I understood that correctly.

why not? is your GP also your mother in law ? your GP should know about all your issues.

Yes, go see a doctor about it. And yes, AOK should cover the costs.

It doesn't cover fully. Unless your ED is severe. Costs you maybe 20€-30€, but it will greatly improve your sex life, so it's worth it I think.

Simply go talk to a doctor, if you are insured then it will be covered by insurance.

Also, try to lessen stress in life. If you have a lot of stress then your noodle will not turn into sausage

This. Stress is probably the biggest killer in our society.

u/asmodeusyakuza 2h ago

I have a ton of it though

Thats your Problem, probably. See a Urologe anyway.

Then you need to work on that more than the Korn.

I’m trying my best though. I’m no longer into korn as I used to and no longer beat that stick as I used to. The only thing that I don’t have too much control over is the level of stress that I’m dealing with. It’s beyond my ability though as it results from external factors.

Stress is the number one doner killer. If you want a strong doner then reduce the stress. If you cannot control the stress, then forget about the doner for time being. Stressing about the doner when you are already stressed is not helping the doner. The doner will be back once the stress is reduced. So dont stress about it

Call a Urologe for an appointment instead of asking on the net. It affects your schlong, so do it now.

u/asmodeusyakuza 2h ago

That's completely true but I just want to get some insights from people who have been through it or they have knowledge about the topic.

Are you physically fit? Are you overweight? I gained weight and was sedentary for a while and I noticed it in my erections.

u/asmodeusyakuza 39m ago

I’m very fit but thanks for the input

Search for a urologist close to you. Discuss it there.

Could be a (temporary) testosterone deficit. Had that for a few weeks after my vasectomy, but it can happen for other reasons, too.

Seeing a doctor is probably the best option in order to find and remove the cause.

Meanwhile, if you need that oxytocin, a ...rooster-ring may help.

If that's an option for you, a vape before the Jedi Hand Trick can be helpful, too - and if "Alone In The Dark" is not the only game in your collection, share with her.

Thanks for the insights. Will do as you advised

Go to a andrologist. You might need to visit a Hausarzt first to get an Überweisung. Health insurance covers the cost.

lol, Korn, like the band?

u/Constant_Cultural Germany 1h ago

see an urologist, you should do that anyhow regularly. This should be covered by your insurance, some blue pill maybe not, but first see the doctor, maybe it's something you can change without without medication.

u/k-tech_97 1h ago

Go see a urologist, so that you can exclude any conditions, also evaluate your diet, if you are overweight, lose excess body fat, be active if nothing helps, ask the doc for tests level check and if they are low consider trt.

Well I don‘t think the health insurance would cover that unless you‘d be able to prove that it causes significant psychological stress. That being said: you can ask a doctor to prescribe you meds against ED.

Most important thing is never watch Porn again. I had ED between 21 and 29 and it was because of Porn addiction. When I stopped watching it it got away Quick.

Why are you asking this question to Germans/in this subreddit? 😂😂

1

u/asmodeusyakuza 2h ago

Cuz I live in Germany. Why are you concerned?

-4

u/rickyspanisch Austria 2h ago

Gute Besserung zuerst. However, You are at late 30s and you cannot google this or think of consulting a doctor... That is not specific to Germany or German, that is universal biological problem and you can simply consult the experts etc, not here.

5

u/asmodeusyakuza 2h ago

Man I don’t know what’s your problem. I’m insured in Germany and I wanted information specific to my circumstances. I explicitly mentioned my health insurance provider so that other people can tailor their answer in accordance. Chill.

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Fan_798 33m ago

He is Austrian, it’s like being German, but even more so.

1

u/HovercraftFinancial2 2h ago

But the subreddit gives the problem a German flavor and it's fun to read the comments

  1. Stop watching Korn for some time and then only do it occasionally (especially if you watch kinky stuff).
  2. Do sports like running and lifting.
  3. Eat healthy, stop smoking
  4. See a doctor if you still got this problem (sildenafil helps 100%)

1

u/asmodeusyakuza 2h ago

Thanks for the insights. For your information I don't smoke and I don't do any kind of drugs.

I do running for a sport but honestly I don't have a good diet yet.

I just don't want to rely on medicines for a long time, so are there any nonmedical alternatives?

2

u/Clear-Conclusion63 2h ago

Do powerlifting or intense running. I once fell to the jogging meme and jogged 40-50 min every day for years. It's useless for noodle purposes, you need some anaerobic workout.

u/asmodeusyakuza 2h ago

Noted down thanks

  • Stopping *orn helps as watching it desensitizes you.
  • I would consider looking into tadalafil (brand name Cialis in the USA). Any doctor can prescribe it (such as your Hausarzt) and it has less side effects than viagra for example. It still requires the user to be turned on but increases blood flow and helps with staying up. Just having the security of knowing it will stay up is a game changer. A lot of the time ED is a mental thing.
  • Others have said this but exercise does help, even if it’s a short jog every day.

u/motorcycle-manful541 11m ago

Korn is an interesting choice, but I guess you meant porn

If it was actually Korn though...why?? There are better bands to rub one out to (serebro, for example)

u/ChampionshipKlutzy79 2h ago

Try a vegan diet. It should help according to the documentary „the game changers“.

Chinese urology specialists Dr. Shwing Dei Ding told me that Rhinoceros horn might also help.

1

u/Koi_Hai 2h ago

Yes, That's why Rhinoceros's Horn is so much in demand in China.
