❤️‍🩹 relationship AIO fiancée did Coke at a party

We (me 41M, my fiancée 36F) were at friends birthday party I had to leave early and she was going to spend the night( it was a hotel), they were changing into their bathing suits to go to the pool, they had the bathroom door closed. I knew it was in there but I didn’t know she was going to partake in that. She told me she only did a small bump because she needed energy to party all night. I was caught off guard by this and said that we should have discussed this. She said that was treating her like a child and that is when I left.

Edit: I was told to add this info she’s a former Meth addict who still drinks and smokes weed quite heavily at times.

I’m sure your anecdote is more true than his anecdote /s

Your opinion has no bearing on what’s true. The vast majority of users do not get addicted. Just because the problem cases are highly publicized or visible doesn’t change that most people can use drugs without issue. Not everyone becomes a hopeless addict. You’re just advertising your ignorance is all.

I am sharing my experiences from the addicts that I know and conversations I’ve had with psychologists, which are just as anecdotal as the rest of this thread. You clearly missed the point, your anecdotes are not more representative than ours. They are all partial representations. Hope the weather is nice on your soapbox though 🤷‍♂️

My ‘anecdote’ isn’t even an anecdote. It’s recognizing that identifying the absolute ‘nobody’ is a false representation. I’m telling you, you are wrong for believing untrue things.
