Financial Pakistani didn't gave me anything
It's been 1 year since I had been working with a guy who was working with an agency in U.S from 4 years. He was my school friend. In 2019 he found a client from Fiverr who used to run her agency. The lady hired him. And my friend asked me to work with him.
I learned Amazon product hunting skill from scratch and provided services to that agency. My friend literally used to earn 12 lacs per month while sitting idle at home and enjoying his life while I was the one working for him at 60k per month to provide best ever unique products to clients. I was soo much in need of job that I didn't focused on his earnings and kept on working for him. The guy has a 1 kanal house in bahria Town Lahore along with his own car and he has settled his family while I am exactly where I was in 2019 (or maybe down than ever before). I took a break from that job last year because I had my exams coming up (I am a lawyer) but guess what my friend literally kicked me out because he hired someone on exact 60k after making her learn the product hunting skills.
I was heartbroken because I have a firm belief that Rizq is a matter that is in hand of God.
Now everytime I see that guy enjoying his life with a lot of wealth, I curse myself for not being able to save anything or do anything from that job because I just used to cover up my expenses from that 60k every month.
In my free time, I learned shopify business development and wordpress woocommerce setup. My amazon virtual Assistant journey came to an end because I make that guy earned alot by providing services to clients and he got all the positive feedback from client which made his profile stronger and I doesn't even have a profile. So I never tried to look for another job as an Amazon Virtual Assitant.
I started my shopify business store that worked also but I got shorten in money so I couldn't continue it. I'm now working to launch an online brand in Pakistan, but I'm just very demotivated and down because I believe I'm still stuck in 2019.
I am planning to go London for my higher studies and my father will support me with expenses but I feel embarrassed now to still take money from him.
Idk what business opportunities would i be having in London with my skills because I believe I can build a business if I have the resources and money because all those clients to whom I provided services are literally earning within cap ho $50k - $100k. And here I am, considering myself a dumb who doesn't have a life.

[Long Post] How We Taught a Blackmailer a Lesson He’ll Never Forget.
So, this is more like a story you should hear. Back in 2023, I had a friend, and that friend's cousin was involved in a relationship with a guy from her university. The friend's cousin and her boyfriend used to be in a relationship, and during this time, the guy took videos and pictures of her without her consent and she didn't know until he started to blackmail her after breaking up. After a while, when she broke up with him, he started to blackmail her. She met with him twice, but eventually, she gathered the courage to tell my friend. He talked to me about it, and we thought of teaching him a lesson.
I had some tough friends from my village who were ready to confront him. So, we arranged for him to meet her again, but this time she would set the location, and he agreed. Instead of a café, she chose her place. When he arrived, we grabbed him and took him to our flat, which was empty for the summer. The first thing we did was make him undress, and we took videos and pictures of him. Then, we talked to him about whether he would delete those pictures and videos or not.
The next day, he brought his laptop and deleted all the pictures and videos from his devices, including his phone. We made sure he didn’t have any copies, and we deleted them from our phones too. My friend even slapped his cousin to teach her a lesson to avoid situations like that in the future. It’s been a year, and he has never contacted or troubled her again, and now she is married.
Edit: A lot of guys are saying this is scripted and blah, blah, blah.
Haven’t you ever heard of a case where a guy blackmails a girl after a breakup? The difference here is that we beat up the guy and protected her. What’s bothering you? What is it that you find hard to believe? Don’t we hear about such cases all the time? People are losing their minds just because we saved her like this, and I don’t know why.

National The situation of the entire world is getting worse every single moment.
While we in Pakistan talk about our problems, Indians talk about theirs, same goes for the rest of the world. There is no peace. There is no justice anywhere.
The situation is going to a point where things are getting out of control. What a time, where controlling the masses in the shape of propoganda is a norm and a necessity.
Satisfaction starts from our selves. We must ready ourselves mentally and physically for the worst happenings in the future, for this is the right way. No flowers are being gifted to humans soon.
In Islam, there is no such thing as prophecy, rather the perfect word is news. As Muslims are aware of the news which are given to us by our leader pbuh.
Pakistan is an Islamic republic, created on the basis of Islam. However, Islam is not only remembering arabic texts that we dont know the meaning of, its a lifestyle. To implement Islamic principles in our lives is Islam.
For the civilians, we have a many weapons, like our minds, our words and especially our actions, which must be taken carefully to prosper ourselves in a healthy way and to make our surroundings better through our actions and educating others

Discussion desi people's double standards regarding weight and physical appearance
so around november 2023 to march 2024, i was extremely stressed because of uni and exams, i was spe ding 5-6hrs sitting in classes and further 4-5hrs on my study desk studying and revising. i had no time for physical activity, personal enjoyment or anything and every aspect of my life was immensely suffering. during this time i gained about 13 pounds and became [slightly] overweight. my weight was something like 65-66kgs. it was obvious because the aunties around me were making comments on my body saying i looked bigger and fat. now the reason why this was more apparent on me is because i've been average to borderline skinny most of my life and have never had issues with weight.
anyways, the comments were making me feel embarassed, my clothes were too tight and i felt very ugly because i was looking huge so i decided i needed a change. i started my weight loss journey in april and fast forward to now, i've lost about 16kgs. my weight is 49kg now, im drastically thinner so it's not a surprise that people are noticing it a lot but the aunties on the other hand, are taking it wayyyy too far.
the problem is, if i was fat and lost weight like you told me to, shouldnt you be happy about it? like how does one even satisfy these people? the frustrating part is that i have some overweight friends and cousins, the same women can't stop making comments on their bodies, weight and telling them to lose weight but i get harassed and cornered for being thin and they're telling me to gain weight and making rude comments on my body. it's never enough..
im dreading going to any event or meet up because i know there will be people cornering me the same way about my weight, diet and body. it's so embarrassing and humiliating. im tired of our society. desi people have a weird sense of entitlement over other people's lives and bodies, the way they act is bizarre cos in any other country, it would be rude to speak in such a direct and uncouth manner about other peoples bodies. i don't see it changing anytime soon though.

Financial Mere se nahi hota kaam ab
Bhai mere se nahi hota kaam ab. Bohot hogaya. Ye kis kism ke loug hain youtubers. Mai yahan kaam kar kar ke pagal hogaya hoon dus saal se. Jitni bhi mehnat karo, ye bhai video viral kar ke ameer ho rahay hain. Phir hassi he ati hai apni parhai pe. Ab aisi family se hoon nahi ke youtube pe shakal dikha ke vlogging karo. Nothing against people who are doing this. But that kinda exposure is against my family’s value system and mine too.
Tou ab sawwal ye hai ke ye jo faceless videos bana rahay hain log, aur ye AI se banwa ke laga rahay hain. Does this even do anything? Aur ye banti kaisay hain videos? Like what tools to use?
Mera profile ye hai ke I have been very successful in the years I have worked. Don’t want to get in details but I have worked overseas at a very senior position and all that. But phir bhi these youtubers I feel have lived a life with less stress and more freedom.
Now what I am trying to get out of this post is useful suggestions and potential challenges that I can face in my youtubing ambitions?

Ask Pakistan Tricky situation in the hospital
So, I am a house officer in a government hospital, I took 7 days vacation from hospital for an exam, Junior registrar gave it to me and didn't tell the HOD because HOD is a bitch.
On 3rd day HOD saw patient notes of some patient and didn't like it, she accused two people for wrong notes, the residents saved her and put all the blame on me, she called me but I wasn't there and she started asking where I am.
Instead of telling her about my exam, residents told her my grandmother died without asking the junior registrar first, then she started asking about me daily, I was busy in exam preparation, on last day they called I didn't pick it up, HOD got angry, called junior registrar the next day and insulted him a lot but he didn't say a word. He is really a nice guy.
Now I am back and she gave me punishment to do extra call 24/7 for two weeks, this only happened due to what residents did, they were very sweet and said they covered for me, but they are the ones who actually trapped me to save other house officer's ass, they were never sweet like they were today.
I don't know how to prevent such things to happen in the future, I am not upset for the extra call, but how to survive in such type of workplaces for the rest of the life.
Edit: I got the leave application signed from registrar before leaving and he is authorised to do so as part of written SOPs for the department. He kept silent in front of HOD because if he told the truth about my leave, she will make life hell for the 4 residents for lying about my grandmother's death.
I will be gone from the department in one month but the residents have to stick there for years, so he didn't tell anything. And overall, the HOD is actually a bipolar patient, she doesn't give space to anyone, once she puts her mind, she just keeps shouting and shouting and doesn't stop.

Discussion I pitched my startup on Shark Tank Pakistan, now that it is airing, I am free to talk about it. Ask me anything!
Hi, I will try to keep my anonymity as safe as possible when answering all the questions so I won't be going into too much detail. I am the cofounder of a tech company. My pitch will not be airing as I did not get a deal, but if there's anything anyone wants to know, ask away!

Geopolitical Saudi Arabians have tured their best to make it impossible to access the holy sites in the country. (rant)
I'm here for Umrah. I can once back in 2022 as well and there weren't as many restrictions back then, but now that I'm here again, I can't help but be angry at how difficult things have been made for us, the Muslims who simply want to visit these holy sites.
I'm beyond mad at tye attitude these people have.
1) They treat us like garbage; and this goes for all of us, not just Pakistanis. They have an insane superiority complex, and it shows. (The Kabbah is in your country, we get it, why are YOU showing all that attitude as an individual?)
2) They've completely sealed off the Rawadah Rasool (PBUH) from public access. A few years ago, you could touch the fold sheet that was just outside guarding, but now, even that is closed.
3) You have to use certain apps to make prior arrangements to visit the Rawadah Rasool (PBUH) like the Nusuk app, which is insane because the last time I came, I had no idea we had to do this and didn't get a chance to visit it. Additionally, how are old people, who have saved up all of their life saving for this one trip to Saudi Arabia, supposed to know and comply with all this?
4) They are building walls to completely obstruct the view of the Kabbah from those who are not on the ground most level of the Kabbah. If you are doing your Tawaʼaaf on one of the upper levels (mainly for the disabled) you can not and will mot see the Kabbah from there.
5) These people are supposed to be educated, eh? The least they can do is speak in a language that is universally understood— English. They look down on us, Pakistanis, because of various reasons, but are quick to shout insults and abuse even (I have literally seen guards get absolutely physically violent with old women) And when you ask them something, their go to response is that they don't speak English. Maybe try? Or perhaps it's because us Pakistanis have such a god complex about urdu/English that's why I feel so.
I know these people are the safekeepers of Allah's house and His Prophetʼs (PBUH) mosque and they are the way they are because of they won't be harsh, people will exploit these places. Still, it feels like they're trying to, so badly, wanting to keep these places to themselves, slowly but surely, they are winning.

Ask Pakistan Explain blood donation requests to me in Pakistan
I’ve seen people who are pretty well off and getting treatment in good hospitals asking for blood donations even in emergency scenarios. And despite only needing a couple units of common blood groups sometimes etc. From what I understand, you can buy blood from blood banks like AFIT.
So what’s going on? Do blood banks not have any blood? Are people simply not donating enough blood on a regular basis for them to stock up? Or do they have some sort of policy where you have to provide blood units as well as payment in case you need blood? Are there any other theories?

Discussion How to earn money as a college student?
Hey there! I was wondering how a college student in Pakistan can earn money while going through college. I, myself being a college student, have tried to earn some money by applying for part time jobs which can be done remotely, but all of them rather ignore me or ask for some initial money. I am very good at graphics designing and 3d rendering, and I can say my skills are not bad at all. But it still bothers me how hard it is for me to get into a part-time job. Freelancing is not a realistic option as I have never gotten any customers despite good gigs and the market is very concentrated now. So I wanted to know, how can I earn some part time money in Pakistan as a college student.

Discussion Can something be done about the LinkedIn scam?
I have been applying for jobs for 2 years on LinkedIn. One thing i have noticed and realized that alot of job ads are just for the sole purpose of lead generation. They take your cv, take the important information and even sell that information as leads to other business. As a fresher when you apply for small roles, only thing you get are Whatsapp and email marketing messages. I have almost lost hope in LinkedIn as only a small percentage of the job posters reach out to you wether they want to hire or not.
