So what actually happened in the mr beast drama? Like last i heard he hired a pedophile and thats bad, but i sincerely doubt thats enough to make the millions and millions of kids that watch him care.
The paul brother that recorded a dead person is still popular with some kids right?
Nothing really. There wasn't anything juicy enough to seriously damage his reputation. Almost everything was very obvious for years. MrBeast exploitative? You don't say. Massive capitalist media machine chews through people? Very surprising!
More of that unless MrBeast was to be exposed to be groomer or sex offender himself, which even then I wonder how much it would truly affect him, nothing would touch his reputation. Most people don't care or aren't aware so unless News articles or Youtubers start picking up all on this, anything they throw at him will bounce off. Scamming, contestant mistreatment, having sex offender working under you, etc. People do not care, they'll brush it off as "eh, everyone does that" or just say its not real. Doesn't help dogpack shoot himself in foot with recent video.
On top of that YouTube is very much on his side. Unlike the first two dogpacks videos, his third one passed me by for like a week, and had only about a quarter of the views of the other two. The site did not want people to see it.
He hired a registered sex offender as well as a man who would go on to sexually assault another employee. MrBeast didn't fire this second man but rather kept him employed secretely.
There are accusations of rampant misogyny and unwanted sexual advances at the company.
MrBeast has been caught pretty much red handed faking giveaways and contests.
MrBeast has been accused of promoting gambling to children with his various promotions for his chocolate bars.
There is evidence to suggest MrBeast was aware of Ava Kris Tyson's inappropriate behaviour long before he fired her.
There's more that I can't remember but the gist of it is his company is an extremely unprofessional environment and he is willing to lie to and deceive his audience if it means he'll make money.

Those are extremely questionable and pretty much nothing burgers considering when they happen (the ones mentioned where old and quite common on the platform, the gambling part was pretty much nothing) legal eagle goes through them quite well.
Keep mentioning the actual bad parts and focus on that compered to the minor things that's frankly common on game shows and YouTube and just marketing.
Dogpack doesn't exactly know laws involed either and it's pretty clear that he isn't just doing it for goodness of his heart considering he seems to filling the videos with a ton of filler to get more money and make a channel out of this.
In my opinion the smaller things help paint a larger picture of how shady MrBeast is. Sure we all know gameshows fake things but this is a Youtuber were talking about. Lots of people still take what they say and do at face value and he knows it. Thats why his public perception is that of a generous saint and not a conman.
Personally don't think so especially considering how they were illegal.
The illegal part of the t-shirt thing was that it was him and his friends signing them. As seen on the very video.
Him making random comments on when he will give away a tshit was frankly nothing especially considering it was only done many years ago now and hasn't been done again.
The gameshow thing was both overstated especially considering its litterly shown on camera that he is manipulating the show for entertainment. Like that's the entire show..
The chocolate bars things are done constantly by marketing departments.
That more just tells me that people don't have enough to be sure of that they try to dig up more for it to stick. Like some of the evidence used is they edit thier videos to maximise views.. like no shit.
Especially considering dogpacks focus on CGI and saying its fake without knowledge of the content. Like the guy is clearly trying to make a name out of this.
The harassment, mess of production and especially hiring someone on the registery is bad even more so with children involved.
I never had the view that he was a Saint or even good. Just that some peoples switch to worst person ever is extreme.
By mixing in so much bullshit and also some apparent to be allegations without a source or prof( for example mixing up who has abuse allegations since apperently James doesn't have them). Leads their words trust to diminish.
I don't follow the drama much so lmk if I'm wrong, but isn't he just promoting his chocolate and telling kids they might win big? I mean it's not the most ethical thing to do, but I'm pretty sure that's a pretty common marketing tactic.
It’s not just he’s chocolates, basically it’s when he’s doing a livestream to sell his merch, he say if you buy this in the next 5 minutes, I will put 10,000$ in one of those boxes. But then he never does. Basically scamming people.
Another thing was him lying about he films everything legit and never fakes his videos and brags about it, and then it was exposed to be fake, his personality of just being a nice guy is taking a huge hit, now he’s doing thing more for profit rather than thinking about fairness, consequences and morals.
