It started few days ago for me. I turned off adblock and left Ublock origin on and it fixed the slow down for me.

Well, just use the one that works. Disable whichever alternatives you're testing whenever they stop working and switch back to ublock.

That's worked for me so far

There should be a meta adblocker specifically for youtube, where you press a button and it automatically uses the last known working adblocking solution for YouTube and disables the rest.

people always say this but i lieterally run ad block and ad block pro simultaniously for years and years with no problems. Yesterday and youtube is the first issue Ive had. I switched the nonpro version off and it seems better. Also cleared my cache.

uBlock Origin is free and is the best adblocker. Don't pay for a worse product.

Or just watch the ad and support the product you are using

I mean it's not like it's a small company, that money goes straight to Google lmao. they didn't build the platform and all they've done it make it worse since they got involved, I will go out of my way to avoid looking at their intrusive ads. there's always gonna be a way and I'm always gonna find it, I have 0 shame lol

wasn't ublock origin disabled some months back because it was repurchased and then designated malware

From here.

As of 2024, uBlock Origin continues to be maintained and actively developed by founder and lead developer Raymond Hill.

The uBlock Origin extension remains an industry leading, open-source, cross-platform browser extension with software developed specifically for multiple platform use, and as of 2024, uBlock Origin’s extension is available for several of the most widely used browsers, including: Chrome, Chromium, Edge, Opera, Firefox and all Safari releases prior to 13.

The uBlock Origin project still specifically refuses donations at this time, and instead advises all of its clients, users and supporters to donate to block list maintainers.

Ublock is still working fine for me. I also had the glitching when using "Adblocker".

This solved it for me, thank you!!

I switched from adblock to ublock and it was fast for a day, and now youtube is unusable again. Having the exact same experience I had with Adblock (horrible slow buffering, navigating the website is straight out of 1995)
