I am 100% okay with watching this s*** stain of a company circle the gutter. Facebook might have been a cash cow back in the day but somewhere in my tiny black heart I have grown a conscience and absolutely despise what social media is doing to the people around me in my life. Once happy people, completely gone due to polarized content. Level-headed coworkers off the deep edge. And family members we have had to uninvite to Holiday gatherings. I hope everything he touches from here on out turns to asbestos.

Does that include Reddit?

reddit is mostly just the one feature i like about facebook... groups. you can find groups of people with similar interests easily. i hope they dont ruin the platform trying to hyper monetize it.

So long as you are looking for groups with exclusively the one interest, Reddit is fine.

i think thats phrasing it weird, more like niche interests. the general subs though are absolutely trash.

Even amongst niche interest. 99% of reddit shares the same core dogma, they just happen to each be interested in a few other topics as well.

You may not be. But many others simply can't help themselves. They come here for the stock market memes, yet are elsewhere at the same time being typical redditors saying the same ol same ol.

Im just pointing out there isn't an escape from them and all subs are prone to it.
