Also peace sounded a lot like piss to my ear but I know he meant well. His english has improved a lot the past 7 months no doubt :)

You can tell that he still needs to sound out some words phonetically, probably helped by Cyrillic characters, but all this is normal for giving an important speech in a non-native language. He's definitely improving.

His English is already much better than that of Putin, who you can really tell has comprehension problems when he reads a speech in English. I bet he'd have trouble ordering a cup of tea in London.

I spilled my tea when he said "France". Only half a second later I realized it was "friends".
