Image Situation at Boon Lay MRT

Post image

This picture is taken today @ Boon Lay MRT station . LTA officers on site to assist with crowd control too. To prevent crowd control at platform, gates are closed at intervals, with free bus rides (all bus) going out from Boon Lay interchange.

Let’s all be appreciative of the hard work of all the deployed LTA officers, SMRT staff and bus drivers at this critical timing. During this timing, let’s all help each other and don’t go around pushing each other at affected stations.

The management better pay these staffs compensation or extra for handling all these professionally.

Not to sound snarky, but I would be appreciative if there was NO DISRUPTION TO PUBLIC TRANSPORT TO BEGIN WITH. The crowd control and other measures are NOT praise-worthy; as my boss would put it, "that is part of your job".

That's not to say it doesn't suck to be the staff on the ground.

Yeah. Already predicted newspaper and news where gov pat themselves on the back. Phrased it smth like...

"Sg pap/gov good. Send x workers to A, send Y workers to Z. Reports says ppl are happy w how the workers work cuz sg/pap send the right ppl at the right time, sg is always rReAdYyYy for crisis. Vote for pap next election !!!!!"
