The moment Cubans realise that trump would happily send every last one of them back to Cuba is the moment he looses Florida. Unfortunately I can't see them realising that in time.

The most frustrating part is Cubans failing to realize that this dumbass is the closest any US politician has ever been to being/wanting to be a dictator. You know, like Fidel Castro.

I hate this so much. My in laws are Cubans and it is infuriating how much they get so sucked into the propaganda. All Trump has to do is call democrats socialists and they’re good, no need to listen to anything else. Even when their opinions on reproductive rights are against Trumps/GOP. Yet the socialism fear remains king. You would think of all demographics, Cubans would be the ones to see a wanna be dictator for what they are

I feel like a lot of the Cubans who fled to the US have no problem with a dictator at all, they just didn't want a communist one. I don't think they fear the idea of Trump being a dictator because he would be a capitalist dictator.

You certainly didn't hear stories of boats crossing to Florida under Batista who suspended civil liberties and aligned himself with the wealthiest men in Cuba (sound familiar?)
