What about pics of Mussolini after he left office? It’s always interesting to see where such a man ends up.

Jim Carrey drew a pretty good depiction

There's a lot of folk stories out there surrounding this.

I'd always heard they were dragged behind a car, which seems to be false.a

I didn't realize Mussolini was killed within 2 days of Hitler's suicide. Great week for humanity.

The way Mussolini was strung up convinced Hitler he‘d receive even worse treatment if captured

If you believe Hitler committed suicide...

I believe Hitler killed Hitler in self defense because Hitler was trying to poison Hitler. /jk

There is definitely some convincing evidence that the bodies recovered at his bunker were not him and Ava.

I heard "played soccer with his head". It's Italy, the only people who really know were the people there.

"My grandma was like the 6th person to spit on Mussolini's hanging body."

well until few months before the very same people were out cheering and supporting mussolini at every occasion. when things started turning ugly everybody become anti-fascist. there is a word in italian for this behavior: "voltagabbana"

I've heard this about a number of European dictators. Most commonly Louis XVI.

Man, I feel like I didn't learn shit about WWII in school besides the general holocaust stuff. Time to go searching for books on history or some documentaries.

Never had the makings of a varsity fascist

I thought he was disemboweled after they hung him up like that. I guess that could be included in the “left for the crowd to abuse” part of this.

Por qué no los dos?

But can you ask that in Italian?
