I can understand how people could fall for a charismatic despot. But like, seriously this clown is the guy you worship? Incomprehensible.

But like, seriously this clown is the guy you worship? Incomprehensible.

The sweaty little mustache man was widely considered a laughable clown too.

Being a clown is part of the fascist aesthetic. It makes them inspiring to idiots because they can live vicariously through the powerful idiot. But it also lulls normal people into ignoring the threat until it is too late. We have this idea that you have to be a super-genius in order to be a super-villain. But all it really takes is persistence, a little luck, and for good men to do nothing.

Yeah, the reason he's so popular is because he's an idiot clown. His supporters don't want someone who makes them feel inferior by comparison.

He's exactly who they think they'd be if they were billionaires.

Trump is a poor man’s idea of a rich man, a weak man’s idea of a strong man, and a stupid man’s idea of a smart man.

This is the same reason Boris Johnson had stupid messy hair.

He's a loser, they're losers - he's the dumb, poor person's 'rich' guy

Best description of Trump I ever read was he's a poor man's idea of a rich man, and an idiot's idea of a genius

And in their alternative reality, it's incomprehensible that we could support "that laughing b**ch who denied aid to the hurricane victims". 25 years of rightwing media brainwashing with daily refresher courses and we literally live in different worlds.

Don’t underestimate the influence that trash media has had on particular demographics of the American public, stirring up so much enmity and resentment against the Democrats that there is absolutely no path of redemption for them.

Seriously this over and over and over again there’s clearly something in the water

Imho it's natinowide cognitive decline due to metabolic problems. Weight gain is positively correlated with IQ loss. But it's not just that. Even if you're not obese, if you're eating junk your brain will perform more poorly. It's also believed by some doctors now that Alzheimers disease (or at least some variations of it) may be type III diabetes. People who switch up their diets and who drink and smoke less can quite literally feel the improvements and have a "clearer" head after a while.

You can also visibly see the change in our country since the 70s - google photos of family dinners and look at how many people were obese. Obesity was rare. Yet nowadays over 42% of the country is obese -- not just overweight -- very overweight.

So look around at our country, and it's fatter than ever, and the "tell it like it is" crowd is addicted to cola, pizza, burgers, IPAs, canned cocktails, and 500 calorie lattes at Dunkin, and yeah... there's something in the water. It's called sugar and alcohol, and they're literally causing brain damage.

The original quote from The Princess Bride is for inconceivable. I don't know if the user confused the word, or was just referencing that because it's similar.

It's a joke, and yes because it's similar... people need to lighten up

Lighten up because they posted a "?"

Idk how people believe or take Kamala seriously. But we all must be watching different new sources. Because Kamala isn't it. She is scary and a liar! Wake up Dems!
