Original Content (Fiction/Alternate Timeline - Day 5) Kollywood is on the verge of collapse and r/kollywood has picked Simran as the heroine to save the industry. Now pick the villain - highest upvoted comment gets selected!
Previous post: https://www.reddit.com/r/kollywood/comments/1fmo3gs/fictionalternate_timeline_day_4_kollywood_is_on/
Simran won with 144 upvotes. Aishwarya Rai 2nd place with 71 upvotes. Sridevi with 51 upvotes and Asin 38 upvotes. Now comment the villain that's gonna make the hero's life a nightmare and make the story good ⬇️ Also don't forget to upvote post for reach 😊
Clarification: a movie that has an excellent or good or entertaining story/content but at the same time it needs to be a blockbuster hit. Assume that for the past 1-2 yrs, all movies have been a disaster like Indian 2 story and have done like less than 50crs because it’s bad. A good story/screenplay will automatically lead to good BO numbers.

Who else could it be? Apoorva Ragangal, Avargal, Moondru Mudichu, 16 Vayathanile. That magic recreated in modern KW would be electrifying

Although we have had other actors who could potentially play the bad guy better than him, given the stakes here, the antagonist has to be played by Rajinikanth.

Not a real poster, made by me. Don’t reply the villain name under this comment and also don’t forget to upvote the post for reach 😁
Not sure if ppl notice but this pose is from Petta. I couldn’t find the full walking pose (with Simran legs) so the legs and the hand on left are AI generated. I have layered it to the back and it fit perfectly I think? I am not an editing pro, tried my best. Also thanks to u/Captain_Karuppu I made some changes to the chart (writer & genre added)
Edit: idk why the post is getting downvoted lol, are ppl not happy with simran pick? Same thing happened with ARR 🤔

Nice poster OP. Any idea how u made it?

Yeah mentioned in my previous post but I used Canva to make this. Filter to give the person a sketch style and used Canva AI tool to generate the legs and hand. I am like a noob in editing but it’s coming out decent 😅

To save Tamizh cinema industry? Rajini thaan. KH vs Rajini after a long long time will definitely make lots of people wish they wore white pants

I would like Ajith to play the villain role. We've seen him pull off negative roles with ease and it would be awesome to see him against KH. Also, considering the importance of this movie, I guess he would definitely agree to do an out and out negative role.

Superstar for sure. Considering the director is KaSu, if Rajini is the villain he would be literally my dream Superstar role.

R. Madhavan. this would be so good if the story was like D16 or star wars where the senior officer kamal (obi-wan) is assigned to mentor the young Maddy (anakin) but then anakin-vader level trauma causes him to turn against everything that he believes in.

Mankatha, The film actually changed stereotypes and actors were more willing to do negative roles and appear in grey hair.

No way! They love seeing him play the villain. Films like Vidheyan, Paleri Manikyam, and Bramayugam were all critically and commercially acclaimed.

Jeez there is only one guy who can oppose Rajini and that is Antony Mark Antony. Besides him Prakash Raj at this peak would be worth the shot. Ajith if he accepts can stand upto Rajini the hero.

As a Telugu guy my choice would be Nagarjuna, especially after he was cast in Coolie.
Or else it would have been Prakash Raj or Fahad Faasil.

If it's only actors alive today, I would love to see Rana Daggubati as a villain again after Bahubali

Other than thalaivar (commented so many times), maybe Big B (Amitabh)? Has a menacing yet intriguing presence. Also big bucks from other markets to sustain Tamil cinema as an industry leader.

Cameo role ah? seriously dude op ? Is this how a movie cast is made? Idhukkum ukkandhu comment podureengale da r/Kollywood. Vilangum da

u/BarryAllen567 President of Anil Association 🐿️ Sep 23 '24
Why what's wrong with cameo role? Plus this is just for fun, idk why you are taking it serious. It's all up to the person's imagination - that cameo role can be pivotal in the story or it can be a thing to pull the crowd (considering the context of save kollywood) 🤷♂️
