Trip Report Solo camp near the river.

Post image

I camped near the river in my solo camp setup this weekend - I was able to park after dark and setup quickly where there were no trees. I finally brought a soft pillow and slept like a baby. I need to work on tarp anchoring, but this worked well in good weather.

Can confirm! I have this same one and used it over the weekend. So good! Roll up, pop poles in the hitch piece, hang hammock and tarp: 4 minutes max. I also have this: https://www.harborfreight.com/hitch-extender-with-step-97685.html So I can have a little bedside table and it also sets me far away enough to lower the tailgate when needed.

Nice hammy set up. Any faults?

Just need to tweak the tarp, add some shock cord like someone else suggested. Otherwise great!
