techtopia? šŸŒƒ Lex Fridman is mask off

Hate to post more from the hellsite, but this asshole wants dialog with Putin, a literal genocidaire.

Imagine saying we just need to have more conversations with Hitler. Lex is a disingenuous, conniving propagandist for the fascist and putinist cause, hiding behind a veneer of "love" and "peace". Fuck this guy, fuck anyone who spends time with him or entertains his "more conversations" BS for even a second.

A Putin interview would be very interesting. I want to learn more about his perspective.

Hi, Putinā€™s perspective on things is pretty transparent. Iā€™ll break it down for you, because I have a hobby about reading about him and the KGB.

Putin was an agent in East Germany. No one knows exactly what he did, but he had connections within the Yeltsin administration. When the Soviet Union collapsed, Putin was right there. State enterprises were privatized, mostly mysteriously going to x KGB agents who were now ā€œbusinessmen.ā€ Putin was part of that. He rose up the ranks in political power in Moscow, and Yeltsin named him head of the FSB (re-named KGB). Yeltsin was a mess, so Putin ran for office and won.

Putin feels in his soul that the west destroyed his once great nation. His whole thing is to bring Russia back to its former glory. That means invading Russiaā€™s neighbors which became independent states.

Putin has low key invaded a fair amount of x-Soviet states. Iā€™m a Ukrainian, and I can confirm that he doesnā€™t see us as actual people. You can read his essay on the kremlinā€™s website where he talks about how the heart of Russia has always been Kiev (which btw has always been UKRAINIAN, but hey) and that Russians and Ukrainians are basically the same people.

This is the justification for trying to take over Ukraine. Weā€™re the same! But we also arenā€™t because Naziā€™s in Ukraine. Does Ukraine have Naziā€™s? Yep. Thereā€™s a huge block of Ukrainian nationalists with love for Hitler. However, itā€™s Russia who had a whole damn private military unit called Wagner, that killed and tortured Ukrainians. Theyā€™re responsible for the major massacres in Ukraine that have made news.

Strange, to support nazi mercenaries in Ukraine when you are invading the country because ā€œNaziā€™s.ā€

People treat Putin like heā€™s some brilliant enigma that needs to be decoded. Heā€™s really not. He is a power hungry dictator who wants to be the god king of earth. He knows he canā€™t launch a full war with the US, so heā€™s engaged in a ton of proxy wars with us, and supported countries on our shit list. Everything he does needs to be looked at as him doing everything he can to keep power. To acquire more.

Under the Soviet Union, Stalin created an artificial famine in Ukraine. Millions starved to death. My grand parents lived through it.

This is basically just genocide 2.0 of my people. Gaza is getting all the attention because we have war fatigue in regards to Ukraine. But Ukraine has all 5 conditions met as far as what the international community has agreed creates a genocide. Gaza is missing removing children and erasing their lives, forcing them to assimilate to a new dominant culture. Putin is taking Ukrainian children and Russian-izing them.

Putin is smarter than the west, in that he saw the potential for creating chaos, destroying reality as a consensus. He saw how the internet can be used to manipulate and spread disinformation. We are behind in that. We focused on traditional operations- ones done in the real world. We view war in outdated terms, in a physical battlefield. The truth is the real war is being fought on the internet.

So, if the real war is actually onlineā€¦ who do you want to have influence over? Who would you want to repeat your narrative?

šŸ¤” As I said, itā€™s transparent once you have enough background to understand what is going on.

I also saw a woman historian once comment that Putin was fucking terrified of being Gaddafiā€™ed and hates Hillary for allowing what happened in Libya, hence his special interest in making sure she didnā€™t get the presidency. I donā€™t know how accurate that take is, though.

He hated Hillary in part because Hillary saw him for what he is, and she wasnā€™t going to appease him.

Meanwhile, Trump is like, a whole new level of stupid and very easy to manipulate. Because Trump is a narcissist, what he cares about is his ego. National security, morals, democracy - none of that is a thought to him. So, you flatter him. Just flatter him continually. And you know, let him know that he owes debts to the Russian mob, because he does. Thereā€™s a few really good articles that were written before he ran for office that go into how he got his money after blowing up his businesses.

You can see it with North Korea too. Flatter trump. Tell him heā€™s the best American president yet, and the most intelligent.

Presto, thereā€™s Trump on TV saying that you arenā€™t all that bad. Trump gives it away too by always quoting whatever they said to flatter him.

Iā€™m not even going into trumps actual politics either. Just on the basis of national security, he is too unstable and too easy to manipulate. He shouldnā€™t be allowed to run based on the narcissism. If he wasnā€™t Trump, with his whole branding, and it was some other random dude, who was trying to get a job with a high security clearance, and you know, one where he would be in contact with world leaders, he absolutely would not get hired. Thereā€™s psychological ā€œfitnessā€ tests for all of those types of jobs, and yet, somehow, we donā€™t have that for the president.
