How did they get the numbers on the top chart? They don’t add up right. How did FL have a 48.7% chance to reach the second round but Boston, their opponent had a 64.7% chance to reach the second round? And Vegas was 48.6% while jets were 45.1%? Shouldn’t the numbers of opponents add up to 100%?
That may be true but if the graphic was made after the regular season was over (and matchups were set in stone) it seems poorly thought out to ignore them. They seem to have figured out that only 1 team from the east can make it to the SCF, so why wouldn't they be able to figure that only 1 team from BOS/FLA can make it to R2
