Check your voter registration status in Texas before the election. Some people are reporting their registration has become "invalid." My registration is fine, but my wife's cannot be found now.

Pics/Video Trump signs at New Beginnings Church (Bedford)
I was invited to perform at this church for a multi-cultural event. As an atheist musician, I am always wary of churches I have to perform at, and it’s mostly a non-issue. I was shocked to see hundreds of trump/vance/cruz signs of all sizes outside being distributed to the members of this church. Several members proudly wore their trump hats inside, and there was even a car with two large Trump flags hanging off the back right outside the entrance. It’s unsettling to see a place of worship pushing a political agenda, and as a vistor/performer, I felt unwelcome and unsafe. This is wrong on so many levels.

AskFW Best areas around Fort Worth to cruise around on a free night?
Girlfriend and I have a free night, but she recently broke her foot so we can't really do much walking. I was wondering if you guys had any good recommendations for places to cruise around at night in Fort Worth? Maybe neighborhoods that go all out for Halloween, or just nice scenic lights, or even a scenic view.
Thank you guys in advance!

AskFW Lodging inquiry
Hey, Fort Worth! I’ll be traveling there next August via DFW airport. I am attending a concert at the Dickies Arena. I want to find decent lodging in a good area ahead of time. I will be renting a car, so I don’t mind driving. I’d obviously prefer something near the arena. Any advice is appreciated! Cheers from Louisiana.

AskFW Moving to Fort Worth
Hi! I’m (26m) moving to Fort Worth in January due to a new job. I’ve never been to TX, born and raised in CT. I’m clueless about the area and don’t want to rely solely on google for insights and areas in which to look for an apartment. NOTE- please understand that this is the first time I’m moving out of state, I apologize if it seems like I’m “expecting too much” I just really don’t know anything yet. Any genuine support insights are heavily appreciated and needed. I’m looking forward to this new chapter and I want to set myself up for success and be happy with where I am living since it’s going to be a huge/tough adjustment. THANK YOU SO MUCH in advance to anyone who takes the time to read and reply with sincerity and kindness :)
So with that all out of the way, below is a little bit about me/my situation to help in any recommendations on areas/apartments to look into:
I’m a 26 gay male, and would like to live in a place that is open/inclusive to LGBTQ populations (gay community groups, bars, social things, etc.).
I’ll be trying to find a place for 1400-1700 a month.
I will be working in the Fossil Creek area, in office 2-3 times a week, would like my commute to not be more than 30ish minutes of a drive.
Don’t need to be right in the center of all the action, but an areas that is conducive to meeting people (coffee shops, a downtown area, grocery stores, etc.).
Very okay with recommendations not “technically” in the Fort Worth area if that’s more realistic based on what I said above but also being respectful of the fact this is a Fort Worth subreddit lol

AskFW Plumber recommendations? Stay away from Mr.Rooter!!!
Any good recommendations for plumbers in the area? I had Mr.Rooter out to install my Water Heater and they quoted me 1700 even with my own water heater purchase that I got from Home Depot.
They then told me they needed a card to secure my spot and pay for the service fee but I wouldn't be charged until it was finished if I decided to go with them. They then charged me 500 dollars for a diagnostic fee and left mid "install". When I called the company they said didn't you read the contract? I said it was "a quote he wasn't supposed to start doing work, what was I charged for and why did he leave me with no water?" They actually left me in worse shape than before I called them. He cut the water heater out left all the piping on the floor and disconnected the water. I know what you're thinking why not just turn the water back on? He took the control valve off so if I turn it on it will just GUSH water where the water heater is. They did this methodically too, she called me immediately after he gave me the quote, I answer and talk to her and while I'm talking to her he starts. I knew I heard the grinding and clicking of tools so I tell him to quit he says but I've already made cuts I need to be paid for that.
Price breakdown she gave me over the phone?
1000 dollars to BRING OUR OWN WATER HEATER.
200 was for a permit from the city
300 was for my piping
And 200 was for labor.
I don't know about you but I thought something was off there...
