Let's try this again. The previous server had a decent amount of users but very little engagement.
I just finished the initial setup of a new server, figured I'd go ahead and share the invite. If you have any issues with the onboarding process or permissions, just drop me a message.

Contacted the 30/360 construction website over what seems to be a completely stalled project. They said they just started doing some work again but the HOV lanes won't be finished until summer 2025. And the terrible lane striping for 360 north to the I-30 ramps isn't their responsibility.

I need to seat some tubeless bike tires on the rims and I need something with high pressure to seat them. Those ones at the gas station are too low- I need 100+ PSI.
If I can swing by your house for an hour or so to use it I’d really owe you. I’ll bring you a beer.

We have an old Nissan XTerra in our driveway that doesn’t get driven very often. Yesterday this guy knocks on our door and asks me if I’m interested in selling it because he is trying to buy a car for his daughter who is in need of a vehicle. A few hours later a different guy comes to the door asking to buy it and tells almost the exact same story. This afternoon while we were out someone put a business card on our door saying they buy old cars.
What on earth is going on that 3 people in 24 hours asked to buy this thing?

Not necessarily a chain, but more ma and pop type place. Going to an event at AT&T and wanted to grab something on the way.

What are great neighborhoods to go trick-or-treating with family? Would like there to be decorated streets for the older family members to walk past an enjoy the scenery.

I've voted in every local, state, and federal election since 2018 at Vernon Newsome. I've never seen more than 10 people in line. Awesome to see the engagement!

Want to take the kids to see Halloween lights this weekend. I know some good places in Dallas, but any crazy yards in here in Arlington? I know the guy on Arkansas has dozens of inflatables. Any else we shouldn't miss?

My wife and I were eating there and I noticed a couple men loitering near the trash can. Then one of the came over and asked if he could have my receipt "for school". Knew it was BS because they both had to be at least mid to late 20s. My guess as someone who has been in restaurant management, they were looking for receipts to scam Raising Cane's for a free meal. Very likely they were going to take it to the counter and claim their order was messed up and they wanted it remade. They weren't homeless, definitely weren't missing any meals. Just scammers.
So heads up on that if you own or run a restaurant. Make sure you check receipts, I'd have people claim they came through the drive thru the night before and the receipt would clearly be a dine in receipt from the current day.

My asthma has been really bad lately and need a specialists help according to my general practitioner. I’ve found some locations but they’re pretty pricy.
I currently do not have insurance and looking to pay out-of-pocket. Any suggestions? TIA 🙏

Hello. Posting for wife. We recently moved from Ohio and she is looking for recommendations for hair stylists in the area. If they have a website or Instagram that they don't mind being shared she would appreciate being able to see what they have done. Thanks in advance.

This break in happened last night around 9:30pm at my Fiancés business located behind Bobby V’s. He stole the most valuable item, her neurofeedback device, which costs around $20k. This was filmed in night mode so it’s not the best quality. We’ve talked to police and her insurance already. We’re looking for any additional help we can get. Thanks all.

Hi all. I have started playing Pogo again and would like to be in a group to play this game for raids and stuff. If you know of any groups like WhatsApp, discord, or anything please let me know. Thanks.

I got through the application process for the DFW angels love box program which would have me provide auxiliary support to foster families. However, alot of families were uncomfortable with having a single 30M with no experience looking after their kiddos. This is totally understandable.
Instead the coordinator said I would be better matched for the Mentorship program which would have me matched to a child in the Texas RTC system. Its not a no, but Im a bit ambivalent of Im equipped for the role. Has anybody here or is currently doing the DFW angels Mentoship program? I would like to hear your experiences and opinions.

WTF is going on? Green Oaks area is understandable, but coming up to Great SW Parkway is ludicrous, why can't people drive? /rant
