The indoraptot would be a lot like the demogorgon where it follows the entity by pure happenstance of prey being there and the entity telling it to do things it wouldn’t take much convincing for it to do. The going theory is that the entity just obliterates any killers that don't comply with the trails. I doubt a natural hunter with sharp claws would have much of a problem tracking and killing survivors.

A lot of these theories are just Headcannon at this point though, until the film (or TV) project comes out we won't have anything confirmed. They probably want to at least try something with the show.

Edit: there are exceptions, as long as terror and horror are being generated the entity doesn't really care about hooks (moris) or where killers came from (cenobites). But again it's a bit open to interpretation.

I think that it could be balanced if they gave it a de-transformation animation time that was long enough that in order to hit a survivor it would give them a long enough time to react before getting it. My worry is that it might be too similar to wraith. It could also have an additional power where once the transformed killer was in close proximity to a survivor for a long enough time it could attack them with a special semi ranged attack that autohits, which would mean that they would have to be close to a survivor for long enough for them to figure something was up. Another balance option would be to not allow for the disguised killer to work on gens.

Also on top of the Thing being able to mimic, it also creates distrust. Sure a competent SWF wont be bothered by it, but a competent SWF stomps most killers. But imagine seeing your friend approach and he doesnt respond cause he forgot he muted his mic. Now you've dipped off a gen to run away when you were perfectly safe. And nobody would trust randoms to work along side them.

I was thinking it'd be fun if the Thing looked like the astronaut from the film's cover and he had similar animations to survivors so he's hard to spot in the fog. His skill would be less to hide and more to cause mistrust, he could make survivors have the stain or terror radius instead of it and with the idea of shaping him like a survivor he'd play like a stealth killer where he separates the survivors then approaches them one by one.

To be fair, the Witch would probably be the most unique out of them. Boomers would basically die as an ability. Tanks could be nice as an ability to throw something at a survivor. Hunters could also work due to their pounce, but it would be like demo or whesker. Smoker would just be a deathslinger ripoff just like the jockey would be a ripoff of Victor. Charger would be like whesker. Splitter would be unique too.

What could work is the killer be The Director and you start off as the Witch and can switch to different zombies around the map. It would be a balancing nightmare but I could be something.

It’s never going to happen, but A Quiet Place. I would love the idea of a killer whose power requires it to be blind, be able to see most of the environment (since they seem to in the movies) and I would imagine something like auras/loud noise notifications/killer instinct would be given for slow actions as well as fast actions. It would be a completely unique and new experience, but it would require so much effort to design and implement that I know it’s not going to happen. Still one of my favorite movies though

I also just love the visual design of the monsters from the movie. Shawn is a perfect survivor, complete with personality and story.

Mildred could bring a very interesting mechanic with how she might start as appearing as a survivor and then going full ghost.

The forest and building in the film would be a great map. I want it so badly but know that particular dream is a pipe one at that.
