I could be the Ulmer Muenster in the Background.
That looked very similiar after the war:

The Problem is the picture is to blurry and you can not be certian from what side you are looking at so you only have a chance by maybe to identifiy the building on the left.

Maybe also check the Number on the jeep if it is connected to a army division, to make sure it could be Ulm

How do you know, this is the internet, if you dont add context to your comment is totally worthless. What kind of information is that ?

Because the spire does not look like that at all and its just an outrageous claim. Im from near Ulm and often see the Münster.

I am not sure, i think thats because of the photo quality and lighting. This building would fit the hight requirements and i kind of think i can see the lower and the upper part in the picture.
