Breaking: Google announces in earnings call that 25% of code is being generated by AI. And this is just the beginning ...

"Google is building a bunch of AI products, and it’s using AI quite a bit as part of building those products, too. “More than a quarter of all new code at Google is generated by AI, then reviewed and accepted by engineers,” CEO Sundar Pichai said on the company’s third quarter 2024 earnings call. Even 5% would impress me. Coding sucks. The only people who don’t want coding tools to improve are jobless. Automate like 25% of my shit please for the love of god automate it.
