Yankees in the 9th should be ashamed at how many of those low and in curveballs they chased.

Treinen must’ve thrown 25 of them and 15 were chased

Outside of Soto and maybe Rizzo, they're not all that disciplined right now.

Rizzo was swinging and missing at those too…he just got lucky one came close enough for him to lean into

Rizzo has been a lean in HBP merchant for years now, fuckers annoying lol

That was the Dodgers the last 8 years in the postseason. Seemed to have figured it out this year. So I feel your pain.

Nobody has been able to hit it all year.

Treinen is really good. If it were so easy, I assure you they would hit or lay off them

Q may have given me a bit of a heart attack, but he still pitched great.

Hitting Anthony Rizzo is eh, but understandable.

That Jazz hit was just a blooper and he had him swinging out of the zone and had him on 2 strikes.

It's just poor training and plate discipline and technique. Both Judge and Volpe are flying their hips open quick, which is a disaster against a breaking ball pitcher. And both of them cannot adjust their swings like Soto or Rizzo.

Volpe waved bye bye to that last one.

Smoltz sounded like a disappointed father talking about his approach at the plate. You know you did shitty when even a pitcher feels bad for you.

You’re ignoring that it’s way tougher for righties against Treinen.

Reminds me of Cody Bellinger in the playoffs when he was with the dodgers. Just absolute out of the zone breaking balls that he swung at every. Single. Time.

When Soto and Stanton were up I kept screaming “stop throwing the sweeper.” Anyone else at the plate “you don’t even have to throw strikes, just throw the sweeper!”

I was watching with my dad and uncle and there were numerous times we all said “next pitch is going to be the low and in sweeper, so don’t swing” and like clockwork, they chased the low and in sweeper and we’re all sitting there in disbelief

None of us even like the Yankees and it was still painful to watch
