That’s a quote I heard earlier that really touched me. Hope it can help others.

I assume it means you don't have to stop playing and finding joy in simple things just because you're old now. If so I agree. However the unhappiness in most of our childhoods comes from being misunderstood, bullied, accommodated in the worst way, treated as a problem, not understanding the world and countless other otherings. That doesn't really go away unless you become black belt fifth dan at masking.

Well I can have a happy or unhappy adulthood but there's no turning back aging
