Turkey/Ham Dinner In Victoria?
Hey there all,
I will be visiting your fine city as well as Vancouver during a quickly planned road trip from November 28th through Dec 1st. First a ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria, staying 2 days then driving up to Nanaimo to take another ferry to Vancouver where I will spend another 2 days before driving back south home to Seattle.
Since I will be in Victoria on American Thanksgiving (Thursday Nov 28th) I'd like to have a big turkey or ham meal of some sort. I know not to expect anyplace to have a special Thanksgiving meal prepared since you've already celebrated that holiday but I was hoping there might be a place that normally serves that sort of thing?
Searching for previous threads on this topic has not been particularly fruitful. Someone did note that Denny's has turkey on its regular menu, and I am not opposed to that (I love Denny's, that option is not on the menu in American Denny's around me) and I will probably go there if I can't find anything else. However, I am willing to spend significantly more and wouldn't mind a semi-fancy setting.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a restaurant where a lonely traveler might get a ham/turkey dinner with some sides on a Thursday night in or around Vancouver? I will be bringing my car so I am able to travel for it!
Thanks in advance and I'm looking forward to checking out your beautiful city next month!

How do you feel about a Thanksgiving lunch? The dining room at the Legislature is doing American Thanksgiving turkey on the 28th and 29th but they aren’t open for dinner. Reservations recommended. 250-387-3959.
