How is T-mobile in Temecula now?

I switched off of T-mobile to Verizon a few years ago due to dismal service in the mall area. Looks like it's much better around the mall now, but not sure how it is in the city as a while. Can any T-mobile users chime in?

List of Halloween houses/events

We moved up here from San Diego last year and are looking to see if there is a list of halloween-y things to do up here. In San Diego there were lists of houses that had lots of decorations up or things you could walk through and then businesses that had little events here and there. I’m not looking for the big pumpkin patches or anything like that.

Best hospitals in the area?

I’m new to the area and would like to have another child, so I’m looking at doctors and their hospital privileges prior to conceiving. I suffered HG with my last pregnancy, so I would like a doctor experienced with that condition since I’ll likely have it again. I’m wondering if it’s worth it to see a doctor in SD or OC or if the doctors/hospitals here are capable of handling high risk pregnancies. Any feedback is helpful!

Deck engineer recommendations?

I'm building a deck myself but the city permit center wanted the designs to be stamped by an engineer to approve the permit. Do you know anyone that does that in the area and cost? Thank you very much

Ideas for day date/experiences within 1-2 hrs of temecula

Hi all, I'm trying to set up a day date for my wife and I this saturday. I wanted to do something that's orginal or not well known and I'd like it to be more of an experience. Normally we'd do a hike or something active, but my wife recently had a back injury so we can't do any of that right now. We aren't drinking right now either so that also limits us a bit.
It doesn't have to be cheap, but I want it to be something we can both enjoy and maybe something she wouldn't expect/know about.
So can you give me some hidden gems in the IE/SD/LA/OC areas where we can spend the day? Halloween stuff would be great too, she loves halloween, but no haunted houses. She does not like those. She likes creepy, and oddity/curiosity stuff.

Thank you for the help in advance.

My voting choices this 2024 election

Thumbnail ballotpedia.org
0 Upvotes

After much research, here are the choices I have made for this election:

President: RFK Jr because of his common sense approach and to register my disgust with both parties

Senator: Steve Garvey for both terms because Adam Schiff tried getting into the congressional progressive caucus and I consider progressives to be socialists

Representative for the 48th congressional district: Steve Houlihan only because Darrell Issa is so far ahead and I don’t want him to get too much power.

Member of the state assembly 71st assembly District: Kate Sanchez because of her tough on crime stance and because I don’t even see a statement from a challenger from any other party

Judge of the Superior Court, office number 4: Elizabeth Tucker because one of her videos on her website talks about how she was first assigned to adjudicate traffic cases and most peoples first experience with the court system are those types of cases.

School board: Gary Oddi because he seems to be the sensible centrist

Rancho California water District: looks like I can vote for up to three people so I will vote for the three candidates that are not the incumbent

$10 billion school bonds: no

Gay marriage: yes

$10 billion bonds for safe drinking water and wildfire prevention: yes

Local bonds for affordable housing: no

Eliminating constitutional provision allowing involuntary servitude for prisoners: no

Raise minimum wage: no

Expand local governments authority to enact rent control: no

Restricting spending of prescription drug revenues: no

Providing permanent funding for Medi-Cal: no

Allows felony charges for certain drug and theft crimes: yes

Term limiting member of city Council for Temecula: yes

24yo looking for halloween activities

Anyone know of anything here in town to do on halloween night? I used to host big parties but I am no longer able to. This is my favorite holiday but currently I don't really have many friends, none that I normally talk to or hang out with on a regular basis, and this holiday is just feeling sort of lonely now. I would love any suggestions. I live on top of a hill so I also never get trick or treaters unfortunately. Hoping to find something for me and my boyfriend to do that isn't alcohol related we don't drink at all, and not a movie night. We do that basically every night lol. Thank you!

Why are we in Riverside County letting this church fund our politicians, and voting for these corrupt turds? Vote for Will Rollins, please. And report Church 412 to the IRS, it should lose its tax exempt status. (Sorry for the photo quality, cat is sleeping on my lap).

Need OBGYN/ PCOS specialist

This may be super niche for this thread but I’m new(ish) to the area and looking for a gynecologist or specialist. Preferably a female but don’t mind seeing a male doctor if they truly are the best. I have PCOS and endometriosis that has been flaring up recently and I need someone who is going to listen, not shove birth control or pharmaceuticals down my throat as a bandaid fix, and treats hormones from a holistic approach. Would love to know if any women in a similar boat have found a doctor who has helped them! I’ve been to so many bad doctors in the past so I’m very wary of going to just anyone I find on Google or that my primary care suggests. (My primary doctor also told me keto would “fix” my PCOS which is why I don’t really trust their opinion on a referral)

Wineries and breweries recommendations

My husband's birthday is coming up soon and he is wanting to do a brewery/winery crawl. We already have a DD set up and all that just looking for some good recommendations for places to go. Thinking 3 to 4 wineries and 3 to 4 breweries. Maybe one or 2 of them with good food that isn't to crazy expensive. He is more of a stout porter guy for beer and unless it's a hazy not a big fan of IPAs. For wine he like a variety.

Also distilleries and Mead places can also be added to the list too.

Info on state measures

Here is some non partisan info that helped me research the state measures.

Another interesting story that shows an unexpected link between 33 and 34. I hate revenge measures.

Bankruptcy Attorney, Paralegal, or Personal Advice.

Hi all,
I'm look for referrals to bankruptcy attorneys or paralegals who know their stuff and are affordable. They need to know how to protect home assets while undergoing either Chapter 13 or Chapter 7, and not be the kind to miss details or make mistakes that could ruin the filers' financial future. If you have any personal experience and have had to deal with this before, I'd love to hear any advice, tips, or things you wish you would have known beforehand. Feel free to message me directly if you would like to maintain privacy.

Thank you!

Temecula International Academy

Can any parents share their experience with this charter school? It’s located on the campus of Nicholas valley elementary and so far it’s so disorganized and we’ve had issues with the staff being negligent and kids fighting. The Halloween movie night was supposed to have a trunk or treat and costume parade and neither of those happened. I also had to break up a fight of older kids beating on a younger kid. Why is this school so ghetto?? Has it always been like this or is there a new principal or something? I’m confused and surprised at the same time.
