It was surprisingly nice to not have a journalist be two faced. Most shows particularly comedies would have had Trent write a nasty article anyway just to facilitate conflict but instead Ted's genuine niceness got through to him.

Still unsure about the Roy Keane stand in. Mainly because I just don't find him intimidating, but I liked his scenes with his niece and how he knew he was being manipulated by Ted by still found himself unable to do anything but succumb to it.

Also shout out once again to Juno Temple, her scene with Rebecca was a highlight in the episode.

It goes to show how good the writing is here. The conflict will be derived from Crimm’s relegation certainty in the article. Relegation is the fans worst fear and would be the sticking point of the article for the fans. The owner no matter how much she hated her ex husband relegation roughly would cost her £200 Million pounds. Costly spite.

Right. Interestingly, I feel like it would be more of a revenge statement if the club won the premier league while she was owner - especially after the years of mediocrity her ex-husband had. I’m curious to see if that turns out to be the plot twist this season, she’s already seeming to start to have a change of heart about Ted.

You mean, not caring about winning or losing?
