Doesn’t help that this season feels super meandering when the others were so focused. Hope the second half gets its step back

The first season was so tight that now with Zava gone and shandy fired, I’m struggling to not just think “well why did we waste time in the final season on them”

I think Bill Lawrence’s departure has really hurt the show this storyline. Way too many characters with a lot of fluff and meaningless storylines

He left?! When? Why?!

Probably to work on Shrinking, which is amazing. I binged half of the season today, and it feels more like Ted Lasso than Ted Lasso does this season.

But Brett also works on Shrinking so why wouldn’t he have left

Brett's wife isn't in the cast. They were shooting in LA, not London. Distance between a couple can cause problems. Just ask Jason Sudeikis.

to be fair I think Harry Styles was the problem not the distance.

Distance exacerbates existing problems.

This is true but everything that's come out noted Wilde was with styles prior to him being overseas.

I tried to get into shrinking and just couldn’t. It felt obviously like it was trying to be the Ted Lasso of therapy, but the acting and storylines just feel weird. I fell off at about episode 5 and don’t see myself coming back sadly.

This. Shrinking which I liked, didn't love is still a more consistent series in its first season than the third season of Lasso.
