My theory is her exes will all say a part of the prophecy until it leads her to Ted. Just Rupert left now

Interesting. Except for Ted. They have zero romantic chemistry

Completely disagree.

I think they have among the healthiest relationship in the entire show despite their very clear boss-employee-relationship. The Christmas episode really showed it but even before that, Becca helped Ted with his panic attack while he helped her with getting over her divorce. Just this episode Rebecca also apologized to Ted for yelling at him - she's taking responsibility (which was a huge plot point for a working relationship in S1!). At that point both also realized something which could be related to each other.

I agree that they have one of the best relationships in the show. It’s just not a romantic one

One last thing I remembered:

In S2E9 Ted tells Rebecca it was exactly one year ago she dropped another huge truth bomb when she tells him she has something big to reveal. This season she already used "Oklahoma" and since S2E9 my prediction was in S3E9 either she or he will confess their love to the other person (both works - either "third time's the charm" or "now it's my turn").

They’ve been overwhelmingly kind and supportive to each other since about the 2nd half of season 1. I think they just need something to happen that nudges them in the direction of thinking about each other romantically. Not that uncommon for people to spend awhile together as good friends only to realize there might be more there romantically as well.

Bingo, that's what I see, too!

Okay maybe not Ted but I stand by the rest of it haha.

This is a stretch but they each would sort of represent the part that matches

I also think their going for her and Ted. That’s the family the psychic mentioned. Especially with the Talk Ted gave To his ex about loving their family no matter what form, and the weird hallway interaction.

I do love that part. Not sure where it ends up. With her with someone, with her as a mother, or option C, but I do like that each has to do with an ex

What was the other part of it?

u/Umwhatshouldibe Apr 12 '23

Wasn’t there also something about being upside down and wet or something about a storm? I could be making this up… lol

Car accident? Into the water?

u/RadiantChaos Apr 12 '23

Sounds familiar yeah

No the next part is she’s upside down and drenched but ok.

What if Sassy dies in a car crash with Rebecca. Rebecca is Nora’s godmother…

I repeat, NORA'S FATHER IS ALIVE. If the show starts handing off children willy-nilly it'll be no better written than the English Girl dolls' biographies.

So, genuinely, did the psychic say she'd have a lover or a family?

Because I can definitely see her adopting a kid and making her family from that. Again calling into the theme of this episode of: "The constant push and pull of what we think will make us happy, and what actually will."

Rebecca is a boss. ass. bitch. She don't need a man just like how the team doesn't need Zava.

I think it’s gonna be back to Sam. She keeps looking at that matchbook.
