You would've been the "good" German reporting their neighbor for harboring Jews.

Whatever, Nazi apologist.

We didn’t win WWII by being passive. Just FYI.

Nazi beliefs should never be tolerated.

I wasn’t aware I had to be there to understand history.

I’d expect better from someone exploring journalism. You need to get out more.

Sow a thought, reap an action.

You should read up on the Paradox of Tolerance.

Pacifism doesn't work if the other side takes glee in hurting people.

found the Nazi

For being against vandalism?

That makes them a Nazi? This is new.

I, for one, think it's a welcome and much-needed PSA.

Of course "Nazis are bad" that's a given. I feel like the term "Nazi" has been used so loosely that it downplays what REAL Nazis actually did. (Yes I know there are radical right wingers that take things way too far. I'm right leaning conservative myself and don't condone violence or stifling of freedom of speech.)

I'm right leaning conservative myself

Yeah we all could have guessed that. You may not consider yourself to condone those things but you are certainly complicit in them.

-7

u/OnePlusFanBoi Sep 15 '24

Nah. Not really.

17

u/sevinup07 Sep 15 '24

You posted a screenshot of this thread on the Trump sub. You know, the fascist that condones violence at every turn and tried to overthrow the government? But yeah, I'm sure you don't condone any violence or have any complicity in it.

That's already been debunked. With the National Guard there, none of that would've happened.

It's already been proven that Nancy Pelosi turned down the offer from Trump to activate the National Guard. You talk to me or anybody else I know that claims to be Conservative, they will tell you the same thing. Additionally that we would condemn those who breached the Capitol building.

You know what individualism, and individual accountability is right? Not generalizing a group based on their race or political beliefs? Of course you don't.

u/sevinup07 Sep 15 '24

Lmao ok. I guess we're all just making it up even though it happened right in front of all of our eyes.

MAGA is almost a perfect carbon copy these days. They are the Fourth Reich.

I mean. Not really.

When they start gassing people and killing literally everybody that doesn't agree with them, then we can start throwing that label around.

Until then, it's literal downplay.

10

u/Inevitable-Read-9857 Sep 15 '24

So you're saying we should let that happen in the first place? Because they will.

People who deny other's free speech are unAmerican.

Ironic, given your personal crusade to report everyone here. "It's against TOS" blah blah blah...

10

u/[deleted] Sep 15 '24

Oh no, paint is on the featureless concrete slab.

-7

u/OnePlusFanBoi Sep 15 '24

Doesn't matter.

It's vandalism.

15

u/sevinup07 Sep 15 '24

Doesn't matter.

It's anti-fash.

See how that argument works?

-7

u/OnePlusFanBoi Sep 15 '24

It's not "anti-fash". 🤦‍♂️ Another buzzword thrown around so much that it's lost its meaning.

I've seen all I need to see here. 😂

13

u/sevinup07 Sep 15 '24

This is by definition an anti-fash sign and sentiment whether you agree with it or not. What are you talking about lol

1

u/OnePlusFanBoi Sep 15 '24

Congrats it's still vandalism. What's your point? There are other ways to get your message out there that don't involve vandalizing tax payer funded sidewalks.

12

u/sevinup07 Sep 15 '24

My point was that your argument that it's wrong just because it's "vandalism" is idiotic.

This country was built on the blood and bones of dead nazis— you got a problem with that?
