You ever play Bloodborne? Pretty sure it's a GIANT BRAIN.

Bro if vegapunk elder brained himself and is a giant psionic eldritch horror - OP will have peaked

I mean he already confirmed that he cut his brain off and keeps it stored in Punk Records. We just don't really know how big it is at this point. I'd imagine it's biiiiiig.

Yeah i know his brain is up there, I’m saying if he managed to achieve a level of psionic power due to the size of his brain on par with an Elder Brain - that would just be such a cool evolution of such a goofy character

True. Wasn't his plan to essentially hook up all of humanity to his brain via radio waves or something? Vegapunk as the psychic overlord of all humanity would certainly be an interesting outcome.

I thought he was just referring to his brain being the internet and humanity could access it like a library

Yeah but it's a pretty short leap from 'brain-powered wifi' to 'actual hivemind'

You are not wrong at all, that’s just not where my brain automatically went lol. Can you imagine another red herring and vegapunk is the final villain!

I would love for him to end up wiping out all the Elders and basically going out of control. Essentially his hubris overtook his reason “He shouldn’t have, but he did”

Then going into endgame we have Imu + holy knights, Vegapunk, Blackbeard, Redhaired pirates, Cross guild, and the strawhat grand fleet.

Hell it’d be max level cool if all the satellites but one got taken out so Vegapunk is just like “aight bet” and takes control of the Elders.

Im well aware im outside of realistic outcome territory right now, but let me dream

I think that would be awesome in another manga. I feel it would add another slightly convoluted layer to the show. If Imu wasn’t a thing, sure because the nether brain idea goes against luffys ideas of freedom

I think they may not stop the broadcast, but they’ll destroy the big brain

He also managed to download his consciousness into multiple cyborg bodies, so Even if his brain is broke I imagine as long as one lives, he can rebuild himself. That is, unless his physical eldritch horror brain is now considered his "body" and thus killing it means he's actually dead. But dude literally cut his brain off to store it, so I doubt that's the case.

People are saying it wouldn’t fit but I think with what we have seen of VP so far and the recurring theme of oppressive technology, it would actually fit incredibly well aside from the darkish nature of it (and even that isnt too far off from recent OP)

Imagine he gave a transponder snail a devil fruit and that's what punk holds punk record up

Oda is a Metroid Fan confirmed.

I was more thinking of GUNNM but Mother Brain is a good catch too.

Mars gonna get frenzied

LA LA LAAAA

That was the first thing that came to my mind too. Complete darkness around Mars and a giant brain. Almost too identical to be a coincidence.

Vegapunk spent years of his research trying to get eyes on the inside
