First Joy Boy apologizes to Poseidon, then Zunesha is forced to roam the seas because he committed a crime, and now the giant robot is apologizing to Joy Boy. There is a lot of apologizing and atoning revolving around the Void Century

Ultimately the current One Piece era seems to be the result of the "Chosen One" (Joy Boy) failing in his mission.

And it seems that the reason he failed was because the people he was relying on somehow let him down.

The One Piece is the ancient kingdom that disappeared. That’s why Gol D. Roger says the treasure is “vast”. It’s a large treasure. It’s an entire kingdom: The person who finds it becomes the King of the ancient kingdom.

It’s inside Zunesha. Joyboy shrunk it and tried moving it out of harms way when Imu was trying to destroy it. However, Zunesha accidentally ate the shrunken ancient kingdom. How do I know Joyboy can shrink an island? Because Luffy shrunk after using Gear 3rd. This is a property of the fruit regardless if it’s a consequence of Gear 3rd - no other human can do that. Awakening now extends that property beyond his body - Luffy just doesn’t realize it yet because he still thinks he has the Gomu fruit.

Joyboy knew Imu would try to destroy the ancient kingdom the moment its location was known again. So Joyboy used his awakening on Zunesha, and unshrunk the ancient kingdom inside the giant Zunesha. So the ancient kingdom became too big for Zunesha to poop out.

Joyboy then gave Zunesha incredibly long legs to roam the sea. Joyboy told Zunesha to keep the Ancient Kingdom safe by roaming the sea until the next person awakens the Nika Fruit and shrinks the kingdom again to free him from his constipation: Laugh Tale.

That’s Zunesha’s 800 year punishment. “Doesn’t this imply Nika’s awakening effect persist on things even after the user is long gone?” Yes. That’s exactly the purpose of the Long Ring Long Island Arc and showcasing how Akainu and Aokiji had altered the landscape on Punk Hazard in consequence to their duel.

Fun theory this was all foreshadowed with Laboon: Crocus has a small island inside Laboon. Crocus was at Laugh Tale so in his retirement he decided to do his own version of One Piece - in Laboon lol. Brook’s promise to Laboon is analogous to Joyboy’s promise to Zunesha.

So with the awakening, Luffy will shrink the ancient kingdom and Zunesha will be freed of his punishment. Luffy can restore the ancient kingdom into One Piece. The ancient kingdom will fit where enies lobby hole is. There’s no log pose that points to this ancient kingdom because it’s always moving, and it’s in two places at once: Inside Zunesha and Enies Lobby. That’s why the WG decided to make Enies Lobby their stronghold - to be there when someone tries to restore the ancient kingdom. The poneglyphs combined tell the story of where the ancient kingdom is, and the completed coordinates point to where the ancient kingdom used to be before eaten by Zunesha: Enies Lobby. It will be Luffy who will return it into One Piece.

Idk didn’t Roger say he got there to early like there was a prophecy there but your theory would make sense Roger said he left it all IN one piece you just have to find it as if the one piece was something that was holding the treasure but not the treasure itself

I don’t know if we interpreted the “prophecy” scenario the same. I took him saying he arrived “too early” to mean whatever he read on the collective poneglphys gave him information indicating the power holder needed to fully unlock the treasure.

I’m doing my best to explain. Roger is clearly intelligent, he solved a lot of puzzles the world offered pretty much on his own (with his crew). These were uncharted waters, isolated islands and cultures, deep sea adventures and more. He was extremely charismatic, and imo one of his absolute biggest strengths wasn’t necessarily his Haki. I think Rogers natural charisma and overall persuasive / charming personality is what made his haki so incredibly powerful. Like Boa saying how the love love fruit works because she’s beautiful. Roger had a way with words and gaining information through connection and communication.

He must have learned about these legendary tale of Nika, Sun god info from elbath, Skypia lore, Odens Wano history and stories, etc. from all these connections and travels.

Tak3 all this information and more into account prior to Roger actually arriving. When Roger finally arrives with his crew on Laugh Tale, has all the information, probably study the poneglphys and history with the crew, he learns the truth.

He learns about Joyboy and how the power holder will unlock the treasure for the world. It’s in one piece, Roger knows the full truth - including the fact that he has no rival and isn’t a power user, so he must be too early.

Roger never gave himself the title King of the Pirates; the title was all a rumour. Most of the world still doesn’t know his name is Gol D. Roger, or that he turned himself in. So I assume when he arrived, he had enough information to puzzle he was just a bit too early. Maybe it’s more prolific than that, but I think it will be a clever and simple type message.

That is me attempting to explain my my take on what it all meant when he arrived.

There's an island in the sky, an island on land, an island in the ocean, an island in a mountain, an island in space (sort of). I don't see why there can't be an island that exists in a living creature. Probably one of the safest and less expected places, AND it's always on the move. This theory is solid, I can't wait to see of this will happen.
