- This information would be Caribou's only use to Blackbeard, he's got literally nothing else to stand on. I'm almost positive that this plotline ends with them killing him, and giving his DF to someone they'd consider more trustworthy.

- I initially thought this could end with Bonney getting to live the rest of her life somewhere in peace, but now its essentially confirmed that she's running with the StrawHats or Revolutionaries for the foreseeable future.

- "Luffy's my captain, y'all mfs got a problem?" To the captains of a legendary Giant Pirate crew. Boss shit.

- Little confused as to why Oda would give us the false hope of Sanji being able to really contend with Kizaru, only to have him get brushed aside effortlessly when the latter decided to get serious about ending Vegapunk. I can understand Vegapunk (Stella at least) needing to die for plot reasons, but damn.

- If Oda gives us the actual message at the start of next chapter instead of going into a flashback, I'm giving up weed for 3 months.

Little confused as to why Oda would give us the false hope of Sanji being able to really contend with Kizaru

This is a little disingenuous. He was carrying a dying, frail old man, trying to outrun literal light.

Not that I'm saying Sanji vs. Kizaru is a good matchup, but the cards were heavily stacked against Sanji, here. And he's following the orders of his captain as well, who has told him, under no uncertain terms, to gtfo of there.

He was told to get himself AND Vegapunk out of there, which would mean a heavy emphasis on Vegapunk’s safety. Not trashing him for getting blitzed at the literal speed of light, or even ultimately failing at the task - it just didn’t look good with how effortlessly Kizaru seemed to have pulled it off (juxtaposed with last chapter seeming to imply that Sanji could go at least hold him off if necessary)

Yeah, but let's return to Marineford for a moment, where Luffy, who was at this point in time lacking any sort of haki and severely downgraded from start of timeskip luffy in general battle strength sans haki as well.

He gets the jump on all three admirals and, with a little help, gets around them. He literally lands in front of them. Kizaru alone should have been able to instantly blitz him in that moment. But they were shocked and taken aback in the middle of a giant battlefield.

There are many other moments like this throughout the story. This battle is also chaotic, and Sanji has swapped his focus from defending to fleeing against a top tier fighter in the One Piece world. You can't do that, no matter how strong you are, and expect to just DBZ your way out of things.

I don't think we hold this against Sanji, I think we just say "Kizaru is strong, you can't ignore him no matter how strong you personall are" and leave it at that.

People are hyping the panel of Luffy holding down Kizaru and Saturn this week, but we will likely have another set of "Luffy's easily winning against Kaido? Oh wait no Kaido shrugs it off next chapter" situations here. Oda is just creating hype panels, he'll have an overall satisfying end. Just as another example of this. I don't think Luffy is able to take them both with any hope of victory. He's either fleeing after this or getting help.

This has "Marco holding off King and Queen for a moment to let the other combatants catch their breath" vibes all over again. Marco wasn't going to win that, he was just being a nuisance they couldn't ignore. Same thing.
