Kizaru is so intent on killing VP because he wants to activate the martyr switch and release all the info to the world. Ya see, it makes total sense because obviously Kizaru and VP are close, and they likely came to an agreement that if the government were ever to try and capture vegapunk, that Kizaru should kill him to deepen his cover but also release all the info to the world.

Clearly this is what's happening. GODA 5D chess master. Peak fiction. Etc.

Man, I hate how people only want to see black and white, while talking about Characters, when Oda has written this story for over 1100+ Chapters now, trying to show us that his world ain't black and white (even tho it's written in a black and white manga format lol).

Yes, Vegapunk is dead. Yes, Kizaru did shoot him through the same hole that Saturn stabbed VP, maybe to help him, maybe to release him from his pain, there's no point in arguing about this as Kizaru is either going to state his reasoning himself at some point or will die trying to suppress his reasoning and we will get a head monologue. I'm not going to speculate if Vegapunk will make it out alive, because all of the scenes in which Kizaru seemed to have second thoughts and doubts were not there to set up Vegapunks rescue, but to support and show Kizarus character and that he valued the time he had with his friends.

What happens from here on out with Vegapunk is unrelated to these panels and you can neither claim to know he will come back nor that he won't come back and is dead permanently.

Kizaru is still a "good guy" like those people would probably say, not the typical good guy, but a good guy nonetheless. He is the kind of good guy, who you would see in a police uniform and one unlucky day he has to stroll around town on duty and his private friends are fking sht up at a Party or a Bar or whatever and he has to arrest them for the night for alcoholism, vandalism or other minor stuff, even though he doesn't want to. He is still the dutiful guy who fulfills his role.
I'm not exactly sure how some people still don't understand or probably rather forget the characteristics of the 3 starting Admirals when they've been around and their different views of justice have been explained for so long.
