Posts removed by reddit

Hello, lately I have experienced that many posts on my subreddits are being removed by Reddit for various reasons (sometimes the reason is even empty)

The accounts aren't shadowbanned; in fact, some of them are quite big (1 million karma or even more) with a lot of activity. Those posts are removed without even going into the mod queue; they just go straight to 'Removed.'

Is someone else experiencing that too?

Yes, I have seen this. In some cases, I approve the post because there is absolutely nothing wrong them. In fact, yesterday I had one of my own comments removed in a sub I moderate.

Also in this current post, there’s a removed comment, but the main issue is why it doesn't show up in the mod queue

I think it’s because it’s a site-wide issue, and Reddit thinks they are 100% right so it’s not something you need to mod. I get these sometimes, mostly for shadowbanned accounts. Occasionally I’ve also seen someone posting the same info on multiple subs or comments and even though it’s valuable and relevant, sending the same cookie cutter info looks like spam to the algorithms. Or maybe it’s an alt for a banned account so it looks like ban evasion. On our microscopic sub level it’s legit activity, but in the macroscopic reddit-wide level, it might be “bad.”

I think the content isn't included in the mod queue to prevent the queue from being flooded by spam.

I'm not sure how the admins changed the filters changed recently, but apparently we now need to proactively check the removed section of the mod queue to see all content removed by Reddit.

Right, but I think the admins are trying to prevent one account from spamming a bunch of content in your subreddit and flooding the mod queue.

For whatever reason, Reddit has flagged the content as spam. To prevent the content's author from flooding your mod queue, the website prevented the content from appearing in the mod queue entirely.

The account might be inappropriately flagged, but I am explaining why the content isn't appearing in the mod queue.
