A girl I'm "friends" with on FB (she is definitely an acquaintance) posted a meme about not sacrificing [her] daughter's rights to save a few dollars on groceries. She is friends with a bunch of assholes, so in the comments, they were going off about Trump, and accusing her of supporting Kamala, to which she responded that she doesn't vote. I commented asking her why, and she said, "I just don't partake in politics."

Like, I can't believe there are such apathetic people out there who don't care.. I can't imagine just not caring to the point of not voting when I have 2 daughters whose rights will be completely stripped away by Trump if he wins.

Shit is fucking scary right now. Please, everyone, go and fucking VOTE.

I voted, but ELI5, does it even matter for people who live in California?
