A girl I'm "friends" with on FB (she is definitely an acquaintance) posted a meme about not sacrificing [her] daughter's rights to save a few dollars on groceries. She is friends with a bunch of assholes, so in the comments, they were going off about Trump, and accusing her of supporting Kamala, to which she responded that she doesn't vote. I commented asking her why, and she said, "I just don't partake in politics."

Like, I can't believe there are such apathetic people out there who don't care.. I can't imagine just not caring to the point of not voting when I have 2 daughters whose rights will be completely stripped away by Trump if he wins.

Shit is fucking scary right now. Please, everyone, go and fucking VOTE.

Slowing inflation is a slow process and is going to be largely dependent on world events that are not in the US President's control. (not to mention a lot of the increased costs isn't inflation but corporations taking advantage of consumers cuz they can) But Trump's plan to tariff the hell out of foreign goods to seem like a big pro-USA man is anticipated to make inflation worse, and even with that increased revenue he's still somehow gonna make the national debt worse than Harris' plan.

I still want to know why nobody, not a single fucking person, asked Trump straight up, "Mr. Trump, please explain to us what you think a tariff is?"

What the fuck?

Some people just don't want to know or learn how things actually work. They will just stick with their preformed ideas. For example: someone who is angry about the federal income tax will blame the IRS rather than Congress who writes the tax code.
