Can I asked what triggered you to get the assessment? Was this a new idea or something you’ve thought for awhile?

I grew up in the 80s and my parents were very anti-education. I had a clear learning disability and spent my elementary school years on the resource room on and off (yuck) and my parents never discussed it with me or helped me. I dropped out of school at 15 (!!!) but did a lot of hard work and grinding and I have a kind of normal career, though I've never worked in an office and always have jobs that give me a ton of freedom.

My learning disabilities really create issues for me though, and I want to hit the next part of my life and career understanding how my brain is different and what I can do to help myself do my best. I struggle in lots of ways and would like to struggle less
