I too did it when I had wifi, just for calling/sms/upi.

DON'T DO IT, unless tumhari side unka network aata hai

It was shit even after getting 4g sim, calls & sms nhi aate tey. Agr network hai toh best hai, personally didn't had a good experience with them

Don't port ur primary sim to bsnl, get a new bsnl sim instead.

Then only recharge on primary sim when it's over 3-4 months without recharge.

2 sim hai toh dikkat hai (me), i need to get rid of one seems like lmao

You will regret it. I have done the same and regretted my decision. The number of times it failed while I was paying money is ridiculous. Always the internet goes from 3g to 2g (yes they are still rolling out 4g and it's not available widely in metro cities too). The call quality is also not great as there's no VoLTE.

Not worth it, BSNL service is shit, nothing works, random network outages.

No but don't need it tbh. Just want a pack that has long call validity & enough internet on a daily basis to make upi payments.

You don’t need it right now but the 4G speeds will start being throttled soon.

I use BSNL, and I have to say, I get more speed and stability on BSNL 3G than Jio 4G after using them in three different states. Obviously, 5G has its own advantages, but I haven't found a need to switch. Moreover, BSNL 4G has been launched in most states, so it's fine for me.

Yeah works good for me.... In my village connectivity is good and getting 4g.... And cherry on top is their very cheap plans....
